Drop-downs for Macros

A drop-down system similar to queries for macros. I suggest the format: "d{option1,option2,option3,optionX}" ..and you'd get a window with a drop-down similar to the query box when running the macro, listing all of the options within the brackets, separated by commas.

I have to second this. As well if we are doing dropdowns, allow dropdowns to reference attributes while you at it? would be nice to let them have a dropdown where I can either put ?{something|something|something} or @{something|something|something}

GenKitty is right, they are the same idea. I thought they were different because the other suggestion talks about API, but actually both suggestions are asking for an option to allow the Macro code to offer a drop-down menu list. Since both threads have substantial votes (+16 and +16 each!)... I believe it would be best for a Mod or Dev to combine the threads. It's not practical to ask 16 people to remove their votes from one thread, and add to another. I will go ahead and PM Pat (a mod) and Steve (a Dev) to ask how something like this could best be handled. Raising the idea to +32 helps to emphasize the substantial traction this request is accumulating
