Reverse Checkbox Functionality

I'd love the option to reverse the way checkboxes work on the 2024 5e sheet.  It is counter-intuitive to me that checked boxes are checked when they are "available" as opposed to when they are "used". Or, put another way, I'd love to know how many "slots" I have for spells and features by seeing empty boxes, and then as I use those spells and features I check the boxes.  On a long rest (or short rest, as the case may be) the checked boxes for slots/features that were used would be un-checked to show their availability.
