The D&D 2024 Character Sheet doesn't post full spell descriptions when the "link to chat" option is used leaving out important information like range, duration, and components.

Score + 4
So this has been a huge pet peeve of mine. The ability to link a complete spell description was extremely helpful to me in the 2014 sheet. (While I'm proud of my immense grasp of D&D lore, I cannot remember the details of 200+ spells.) The new spell link option only posts part of the spell description leaving out important information as mentioned above, making my job much harder as a DM. While there are powers that link multiple pages of info when I link their description, this is mostly due to power/abilities that have multiple tiers or multiple powers associated with the same ability. Most spells displayed a reasonable amount of information and even the really long ones still displayed all the relevant information.  Just for reference, this is how I'd prefer the spells to display with all relevant information appearing in chat... Magic Missile evocation 1 Casting Time:   1 action Range:   120 feet Target:   A creature of your choice that you can see within range Components:   V, S Duration:   Instantaneous You create three glowing darts of magical force. Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target. The darts all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several. At Higher Levels .  When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell creates one more dart for each slot level above 1st.

It might be due to licensing restrictions. WotC determines what is allowed to be shown.
That would be unfortunate (and extremely dumb if that's the case), but it already displays most of the spell's info and spells name which wouldn't do much to deter copyright issues since we'd already know what the spell is being referenced. I've never heard of having the rights to sell someone's content but then not being able to fully display it? It feels more like a design choice to save space.  Anyone else have any info on this?

Any information in the source material can be shown.  This has been reported many times by myself and others.  Roll20 devs claim to have it on the it radar, but the more reports and upvotes will bring it higher in their priority.  This is such an obvious miss for them, you would think it would be higher in their schedule to fix.
