cant drag handout to folder?

im trying to move handouts and characters into folders i made in the journal, in the old roll 20 youd just grab the three lines and drag them into the folder. after "upgrading" to jumpgate i cannot do this anymore. the three lines dont appear, and it simply wont allow me to drag and drop them into folders. am i missing something or did they simply remove this basic function?

Hi Roman R.,  You should still be able to drag the image to the folder. What got updated is that the image can now be dragged to the table. (Formerly only the name could be dragged to the table.) Note: there is an issue the Devs are still working on, mousewheel scroll while dragging has been lost. If you are still having difficulty dragging please provide a video of the issue, or contact me on the Roll20 Discord server and we can jump into a call where I can observe what is going on.

I've been having the same problem since Thursday (9/11). Dragging the image to the folder doesn't work (most of the time, I've had it work a few times,) on both preexisting jumpgate and new jumpgate games.  I filed a bug report on this, and added a video to it when they requested more info Friday.

Ken S., Can you post the video here for my own edification?
It won't let me upload a video (.mov) only still images.

Perhaps a link to the video? You can PM it to me if you'd like.

Alright, I took a look at Ken S.'s video and I have forwarded my findings to the Devs.  In the meantime here is a possible workaround for you.  Roll20 has always had a tricky setup when it comes to moving things into folders. In Legacy too far to the left and it is not added to the folder, you have to move the dragged object to the right.  In the screenshot below (from Jumpgate) I moved the object up to where I get the drop box, then I pushed right to move the drop box to the right. Please give that a try. (Note: to see the image clearly right click, click open in new tab, then change "med" to "max" in the url.)

Is there anything that can be done to restore the old Forums capability where uploaded-inserted images were automatically clickable to load the larger size in a pop-up ("lightbox")?  That capability seemed to degrade over the past year or so, until now it's hardly ever working. But it used to be automatic, on these forums, for many years prior.

FYI: Gauss figured out what the problem was.  A change affected the region where you need to drop a handout to get it to go into the folder, requiring it to be further right.  In my case, which seems extreme, it was far enough right that I needed to enlarge the right side bar and drop way over.  But doing that solved the problem. My ticket was just updated to note that they've opened "some dev tickets" to get it fixed "soon".

To clarify before anyone gets confused, the image popup has been fixed, not dragging journal tab items.
Came here to post this.  Yeah handouts etc. will go into a folder if CREATED there, but can't be dragged into a folder. Happens in all my Jumpgate games.  I haven't tried legacy.

Adding a sub folder to the folder you want to drag into will also work and then you can just slot things in as normal. It seems to want something there first.
