Hey there. I'm Robin and I've been Storytelling Vampire: the Masquerade for 30 years. I have a little story I'd like to tell you if you want to give this whole Vampire thing a try - or even if you're an experienced player looking for something new. The Story? 25 years ago, on the eve of the millennium, on the biggest party-night the world had ever seen, some monster killed you. But dying was not a process that you were allowed to complete. You rose from your death a Vampire and have reveled in the endless night ever since. But now something from your past reaches out for you. A "poacher", an uninvited Vampire, is killing in the territory of you and your Coterie. Your personal hunting grounds are being violated and it is on you and your friends to protect the Masquerade and bring this killer to justice. Can you face this evil, confront your past, and somehow hold on to your dwindling Humanity? The Setting? Toronto has become a sort of Casablanca of the World of Darkness - overpopulated and home to so many competing groups of Vampires that some say that its reputation as a neutral zone cannot be maintained. Many Vampires, especially the young, flock to the city for its promise of freedom from sect politics and the hope of its egalitarian Prince. In Toronto you can have the sort of Hunting Grounds that would normally be reserved for the elite. You can dance the night away at the Succubus Club North. You can look deep within yourself at the Temple of Set. You can circle the city in the open air with the Ravnos Caravans. In Toronto you don't have to be a monster. But don't look up. Don't see the anvil that hangs above your head every minute of every night. Don't notice the tensions in the air clearly about to break. Hope is a lie. There is no such thing as freedom. And there are only monsters in this room. What are Players Saying? "Been playing with Robin for 5 years and his stories never cease to amaze! Lots of action, lots of intrigue and puzzles to solve, and always an amazing session. No matter the system, he never disappoints!" ~ Curtis W "Robin's a DM whose campaigns are a wild ride of creativity and fun. Every session feels alive, with plot twists you never see coming, blending epic stakes with hilarious, heartfelt moments. He's got this knack for tailoring challenges to each player, making everyone feel like the hero of their own story. He's the kind of storyteller who makes you forget the real world for a while." ~ Chris P "Robin was the first DM to introduce me to TTRPG's. I was very nervous for my first session, but Robin held my hand through the entire process, from character creation to game mechanics. He is honestly one of the best story-tellers I've ever met. As a DM, he's supportive and knowledgeable. Whether you're a veteran player or a complete newbie, I promise you'll have a great experience with Robin!" ~ Shelly C "To say that Robin is my favourite DM is a gross understatement. I've played a number of campaigns with him over the last few years and have consistently been impressed by how beautifully he runs his games. He's highly creative; his storylines are so intricate and engaging - I leave every session feeling like I had a great time!" ~ Jess C $15 per Session via paypal. Session 0 is FREE (Sunday, Sep 21, 8pm EST). https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/430548/original-sin-learn-to-play-vampire-the-masquerade-with-a-pro-storyteller

Still a few spots open! Access to the books provided through the Compendium. You don't need anything to start. This is a Theatre of the Mind game (with immersion enhanced by the Director mod) with the option of "map and minis" for combat scenes if preferred. A storytelling game of personal and political horror. Session 0 (this Sunday) is free. Playable Clans Banu Haqim: the Clan of assassins, judges, and mystics. The "Assamites" have a sizable presence in the city with many having flocked here after the Clan joined the Camarilla. Brujah: the Clan of philosophers, warriors, and rebels. The "Rabble" are the most numerous Clan in the city and also have the most powerful Elder. They have been in an intense rivalry with the Ventrue since the Conclave of Toronto in 2005. Gangrel: the Clan of beasts, outlanders, and outcasts. The "Ferals" aren't numerous within the city, mostly concentrated in the East End. Most Gangrel in the GTA ride with the Caravan. Malkavian: the Clan of madness, seers, and visionaries. The "Lunatics" have some degree of power within the city due to the Seneschal being a Malkavian. The Ministry: the Clan of cultists, deceivers, and serpents. The "Setites" are more prosperous here than in most Camarilla cities due to the Domain they were granted for helping the Prince take the City back from the Sabbat. Nosferatu: the Clan of monstrosity, secrets, and shadows. The "Sewer Rats" control the secrets trade like they do in most cities. They have Domain over both the sewer and subway systems. Toreador: the Clan of art, beauty, and culture. The "Degenerates" control various art and club districts and enjoy a lot of power in the city due to their Elder being the Keeper of Elysium. Tremere: the Clan of knowledge, power, and sorcery. The "Usurpers" in Toronto are mostly hard line traditionalists and almost have a monopoly on arcane knowledge in the city. Ventrue: the Clan of aristocrats, kings, and warlords. The "Blue Bloods" hold the Throne and are easily the most influential Clan and its members enjoy status and prestige.
I'm SO excited that you're running this campaign, Robin! Always a great time with you as GM. Count me in!
