*Still LF1M *PST Based, Anytime from 4:00pm PST to 1:00am PST weekdays, anytime weekends. *Hopefully starting ASAP. Ideally looking for a Melee/Frontliner at the moment (Ex: Crusader/Warblade/Barbarian*/Paladin of Tyranny or Slaughter* etc) Dates and times are extremely open, though character creation will likely have to be done with me, just for the sake of fitting the current setting/time. If interested, add me on Skype @ hayes.grady.m (image of a cat, sorry, forgot to put this originally). First of all, the basics: - Total party size of 3, though power level will be scaled to be similar to a full 4-player party. - The world will be almost entirely homebrew, and any WOTC book is allowed (Tome of Battle, Book of Vile Darkness, even Dragon Magazine material as long as it goes through me first for the OK). - This is an Evil campaign, leaning lawful evil. That does not mean this is a "Lawful Stupid" type campaign, nor a "mindlessly slaughter everyone and then die because of the attention you attract" campaign. Being Evil does not, in any way, correlate to being Stupid. Your characters would NEVER have reached the ranks they're at (lieutenants to a freshly promoted Minor Duke of the Nine Hells) if they weren't intelligent or cunning beings. - Powergaming is encouraged to a certain point. If you're a Venerable Dragonwrought Kobold or have to draw material for 20 different books, you're going to have a bad time. - I'm extremely open to player suggestion and love to hear feedback and ideas from my players as to what they're looking for in a campaign. A good character background and motivation makes my job a thousand times easier and provides a lot more immersion. - Anything not listed here is still being debated/discussed at this point. Starting level 8 42 point buy LA+4 Max (MUST be discussed with the DM, buyoff allowed). 27,000 gold in gold/equipment (all equipment is suspect to DM review/veto, though most should be fine). Rule Variants and Class Changes: Fighter has been completely removed and replaced with the Tome of Battle classes (Crusader, Warblade, Swordsage). *Paladin and Barbarian have been buffed with Tome of Battle material (gain maneuvers and additional class skills). Weapon Proficiency will be done using the Weapon Group Feats variant. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacte... Also, any weapons are fair game. If they're not on that list, we can certainly find a place for them. (See: http://rodriguezvaughn.com/geekspeak/index.php?to... In the Surprise Round, all ranged attackers may add their full Dex bonus to damage. On most Skillchecks, rolling a 1 gives you -10 on the check. Likewise, rolling a 20 provides a +10. Overarching starting plot: The PC's are lieutenants (extremely rare, for mortal auxiliaries to climb so high) to a Minor Duke of the Nine Hells. If an Archdevil like Bel could be counted as the President of the US, the minor Dukes would be the state Governors, and the PC's would effectively be the staff members of said Governors. With the Duke freshly raised to his position he attempts to consolidate his power, and that means finding his most powerful followers, mortal or not.
