Technical Details: System: Numenera, only using the Core rulebook. Players: 3-5; I have made up 5 pregens. I already have 2 players interested. That leaves 3 spots available to take. I should mention, I'm only allowing people to use the pregens. People say they'll have a char ready by game time, but they rarely do. I don't care what blood oath you take to promise to be ready on time, let's just cut that out of the equation all together. Grab a pregen, and slip right into the role :). No system familiarity required: The purpose of this one-shot is for me to get a better handle of the rules set. As such, no system knowledge is required, just show up ready to have fun and roleplay. Voip : Mic required for the game. Webcam unnecessary. We'll be using Teamspeak to voice communicate. Please make sure you have it downloaded (it's free!) and ready to go at game time. I'll send out server info w/ the PMs to those who are accepted. Date and Time: Playing tonight! October 10th, 2014 at 10:30PM EST (GMT-4) . If I didn't mess up the GMT conversion that should be accurate. Approximately 5.5 hours after this posting if that helps. Game Details: 3-5 players will take on the role of mystery archeologists questing to uncover the secret nature of the ruins of ancient civilizations long past. There will be plenty of combat and roleplaying. Unfortunately this one-shot does not have too much in the way of social encounters. When next I tackle the system I'll go for more social encounters. This does not mean that murderhobos will be welcome. If you just want to live out your power fantasies of slicing down hordes of sentients please steer away from this game. In fact, numenera is a very narrative system. It is highly recommended that you come in with the full intent to be a character and stay in character for the duration of the game. Look, I know there is a massive shortage of GMs on roll20, but don't step into this game if you have a problem with the above statement. Don't force me to kick people mid session and ruin what I have going please. All I'm saying, exercise discretion. More details on the starting conditions of the one-shot will be given in game. That's all I have for now. Let me hear from those who are interested in a new adventure in the 9th world.
