Chat archive errorin' out (Chrome)

When trying to open the Chat Archive for one of the campaigns I play in (Campaign ID no. 488388), after trying for a while (and displaying nothing but the patterned gray background and 'Hide Whispers' button), the page hits the "Aw, Snap!" error of Chrome (which is 'unexpected crash'). Reloading the page has the same result every time - the same error. The other campaigns I am part of do not suffer this issue, but it's worth noting that this particular campaign's chat archive is significantly larger than theirs. I've tried opening the page in Internet Explorer. There, it simply stops loading eventually and leaves the page with just the background and 'Hide Whispers' button. No messages are displayed. I've also tried saving the webpage. The result when trying to load it is the same on both browsers - it just loads the background and button, as before, and there are no messages displayed, but the file itself is 50 megabytes and there is packaged/encrypted message data in the source. Lots of it. Any help would be appreciated!

So I took a look, your archive is over 11MB in size and took me 5minutes to load but it did load. It peaked at ~800kb of memory and 25% of my CPU (I have a middle of the road computer). It failed if I tried to do anything else with that instance of Chrome. So, I can easily see why it isn't working for you. To try to open it I suggest you try to open it while you have nothing else open on your computer. I also suggest you open it from the Campaign Details page. Then leave the computer alone for awhile (5-10minutes). I will forward this to the Devs.

Thank you for having a poke! For sake of completeness: - Opening the archive with nothing else running in Chrome: Still no go. It chugs for about a minute, and then crashes, swapping to the "Aw, Snap!" error page. :( I run no extensions, Chrome is fully updated, and computer strength is similarly a middle-of-the-road desktop. - Opening the archive with nothing else running in IE: It works! Takes about 15 minutes, but works.

Have you selected the chat archive (you said it loaded in IE) and copied it all to paste it into a forum post (I would recommend a word file first so no lost chat) then delete the chat archive to see if that removes the problem? That is just a suggestion since I don't know if you have a lot of info or not to keep.

If you right click on the Chat Archive you can select "Save as" and save it as a "webpage, complete". It may load faster as a saved webpage.
