Why can't my 2025 NPC get equipment and spells?

Okay, so I'm running a campaign using 2025.rules and have to make some custom NPCs, the most notable of which being the BBEG.  The character has the ability to cast Harm and Heal at will thanks to an item he's attuned to.  While I've been able to drag Harm over to his actions (I see no place for spells), every time I try to drag Heal over, while it claims its been dropped, the spell does not appear in his list.  The same occurs when I try to add Dispel Magic and Remove Curse.  More over, I cant put in the item he's carrying, even as I try to click on the "Bio & Info" tab which seems to have nothing.  While his introduction is a ways off, there are other characters that will soon need to be added and I'd rather they not be half finished, especially if they become allies. Any help would be appreciated as I'm at the end of my rope here.

Hi Asher Tye,  First a clarification, D&D 5e 2024 is 2024, not 2025. :) Which sheet layout and type are you using? Possible answers: (layout) Standard, Compact, and Stat Block (type) PC Sheet and NPC Sheet
Yes 2024.  Sorry 😅 The type is the NPC. But as to layout I'm not sure.  I didnt even know there were different ones so I guess whichever one would pop up as the default layout.

IIRC the vote for default layout for the NPC sheet was Stat Block. But to make sure you can click the red Settings button in the top right corner of the sheet.  Stat Block is limited in how it can accept and display new information. Switch to Standard or Compact, drag/drop the equipment and spells, then switch to the desired layout.
Okay so thanks, that was actually a big help in placing his spells.  Problem is I've switched to both Standard and Compact and I still don't see where the equipment goes when I drop it, which might be a problem as I also have to add his special equipment

It is just a regular line of text.  So if you do add a peice of gear, such as a magic longsword, make sure you also add it to the Gear line.
Ah, I see.  Gotta manually add it.  Well, that's not so bad.  Just copy and paste.  Thanks a bunch, you've been a big help
