Can't move party ribbon to another map

In my session last week, I had a very difficult time moving the yellow party ribbon from one map to another during the game.  This has never been a problem for me until last week.  When my cursor hovers over the ribbon, it changes to a hand, but when I left-click and hold, it won't drag anywhere.  I got it to work eventually after trying about 20 times, but I have no idea why.  It happened again later in the session, and again, I was only able to do it by chance after trying dozens of times. I just tried this again today, and it's still happening.  I also tried clicking on the ribbon next to the party in the upper right hand corner of the window, and I have the same problem.  I can click the 3 dots on the map I want to use and select "Move party ribbon to here" just fine.  But dragging the ribbon suddenly no longer works properly.

Are you using the yellow ribbon that is on the page or the yellow ribbon from the top right corner of the page toolbar? What happens when you use Incognito mode?

I've tried to drag the yellow ribbon from both the page and the top right corner.  The same thing is happening in incognito mode.  I just tried a bunch of times, and randomly it worked once from the right corner, and once from the page, in between a whole bunch of times where nothing happened.

Which version of Chrome are you using?

Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) -- up to date

Alright, so the last thing I'd try is to make sure all extensions are disabled. Incognito mode should have done that, but sometimes does not.  If that doesn't work please file a report via the Help Center .

Andrew R. said: I never drag the ribbon. I always use Move Party Ribbon to Here Unfortunately if they cannot drag the ribbon that also means they cannot split the party. The Move Party Ribbon to Here also acts as a regroup, so won't be usable in situations where the party is split up. 

Something I’ve never had to do since I joined Roll20 in 2014.

Different groups have different needs. :)
