Chromebook Won't Load Maps/Slow?

I just purchased a cheap chromebook for the sole purpose of running roll20 connected to my tv. But whenever I load up a game on Roll20 through the Chromebook (Chrome browser), it doesn't load any of the images (maps) and tokens. I can load handouts and character sheets, but the maps don't load whatsoever. I've done a few attempts to troubleshoot, but I'm getting mixed results. Can anyone here provide some information to help me? Maybe there's a way to fix the issue? If it's a hardware issue, I'll just have to attempt to return the laptop.

Hi Diceykins! I have a relatively cheap Chrombeook that will run Roll20, and load maps and tokens, and in general work on a game, but I wouldn't try to run a game of any complexity on it, particularly if I also needed video. Mine is an Acer CB315 with 4MB RAM. There are some things you can do to reduce the overhead on the game, such as lowering the Framerate, or using the Experimental Performance Enhancements. If you want to PM me an invite, I can connect through my Chromebook and let you know if my experience differs from what you are seeing.
I was typing up more of my situation... BUT as I was doing it, I discovered that APPARENTLY, my ChromeOS wasn't updated. I had assumed it would give me all the updates as soon I set it up. Haha. Now it's fixed. (Still a little laggy, but I can deal with it) All good now. Thanks for replying!
