Forever DM (decades) looking to do a new 5th ed campaign Fri, Sat, or Sun

(Pacific time) Greeting, programs. I just finished a year and a half campaign (Island of Dread) and we must mostly go our own ways because life reasons. I need to get on top of organizing my next campaign, stat! What to choose? Curse of Strahd? Keep on the Borderlands? Some homebrewed things? My setting is my old homebrew world (see my profile). Though over the years I have incorporated stuff from Forgotten Realms and such though.  I am pretty good at vetting fun groups of people. I like an either mixed group of experienced or kinda experienced folk, or a group of more or less newbies (I adapted to 5th ed during Covid and it is an ongoing learning process). I have at least three campaigns in mind I could get going before too long, maybe after a Discord chat about what we all want. Some are more prepared and campaign ready than others. We shall all decide, my new friends. I ask only that we be open minded and good to each other.  There is no rush here. Speak up here, or PM me freely. I feel I am a good soul and a citizen of the Universe (Gen X) and despite what you might read in my profile I feel we should all be good to each other in a gaming space and leave all real world gobbity gook (politics) behind. Are you having a good time and positive experience pretending to be a hobbit who robs jewelry stores? Or a cleric getting tired of healing people for free? Let me help you realize your dreams. If the stars (time) allow us to be present at the same time, I would be most interested.  To be upfront I am available most times and will consistently show except when matters are out of my hand and the powers that be not allow (power outages), and 1-2 times a year when my travels (work trips) lead me outside the city (province). I rise earlier then most my side of the woods (ATL, EST+1), so as mentioned prior, if the stars align, I would be interested.

It kind of depends what it is. I might be interested, but there is the issue of time zones, as I live in Europe. I have previously played with Americans though, one group that played early in the day (afternoon for me) and another in the afternoon (late evening for me, but could make it work). What time would the sessions take place? My last group fell apart after the DMs work schedule changed, and there was no longer a time we could get together to play. Yet I still have one character idea in my pocket I'd love to play, by which I mean a character backstory - there is room to adjust the class and role in the party.

Pacific time evenings are too much for me too, I'm afraid. I'm in Finland, 10 time zones ahead, so for me that would be in the early hours of morning. Good luck finding the right group though.

I'd like to learn more. I'm interested in finding a Sunday group. I've been playing D&D for about 5 years now pretty well versed in 2014 and 2024 rules. I am used to using roll20 and dndbeyond for character sheets/play. I can do evenings, I'm in central time zone but play in a couple games that run on PST already so that wouldn't be an issue. On discord, I'm doubltap. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

This definitely sounds interesting to me as someone that's been without a weekly game for a while. I am also in PST, so evening PST games are generally great for me as long as they don't start at like 10PM. I've got a lot of ideas for characters I've never had a chance to play so I'd be down for just about anything at this point.

I would definitely be interested, but in my case I unfortunately wouldn’t be available every week. I’m looking for like an every other week kinda game. I’m like on a bit of a weird schedule. As I could play multiple times one week, but none really the next. Like one weekend I’m off Friday through Sunday. The next I work. All that good stuff. Best of luck folks!

Hi! I’m very interested because I can’t seem to find an evening game that’s PST. Fridays would be the best fit for me. I have a couple years experience and playing 2024 in another campaign but I’m down for either. I love to be in character and RP with my fellow PCs.
