stay at home DM

Hey! I’m putting together a campaign that’s all about fun adventure energy . Im a stay at home dad with time and imagination so my schedule is pretty open.  The vibe is laid-back, friendly, and funny . If you enjoy: Roleplay that’s natural and not forced Characters who are heroic but also kinda dumb in a lovable way “Sure let’s try it” problem-solving Laughing at ourselves when plans go sideways Then you’ll probably fit right in. What we’re not looking for: Edgelord “my character is a lone wolf who hates the party” types Rules lawyers who think the Monster Manual is scripture Weird hostile competitiveness People who cant be respectful to others on differences or gender (especially gender) We’re here to have a good time, not apply for the Olympics of Dice Throwing™. Details like system, schedule, platform, etc. — we’ll sort those out in DMs so everyone’s on the same wavelength. If this sounds fun, send me a message with a little blurb about your general vibe as a player. Nothing fancy. “I like frogs and bad accents” counts.
Hey Jacob, this sounds right up my street! I’m Josh, 26 from London, and fairly new to D&D but really keen to play more. I love the sound of a fun, light-hearted group that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I’m pretty easygoing, enjoy roleplay and story-driven moments, and don’t mind things going sideways if it makes for a good laugh. I’ve been learning through the Heroes of the Borderlands starter set but haven’t actually played much yet, so I’m excited to jump in and learn properly. Available weekday evenings (after 6 pm GMT) and weekends.
Hey! Im David. I love fun games like that. Not a rule stickler but I always go with the DM. If I have an ability or bring something up that’s canon and the DM still thinks it’s too OP. That’s fine.    I always play with the group never against.    I may choose “edgelord” types of character. Like Dhampir Bloodhunter. But it’s just in name. They always fit with the group lol     Im available mostly anytime any day
As someone who has played since 1985, my "vibe" can be anything needed, from serious to silly. Will this be on a weekend? I run games during the week so don't have time on weeknights.
Hey Jacob - I sent you a DM! This looks right up my alley, so looking forward to chatting with you about it.
Hi, I'm Matt. Been looking for a chill table for a while with little success, but I'm a flexible player that can play just about any role to suit the party's needs.  I can't do accents, but I love making and roleplaying characters, and seeing how they fit into the party's dynamic and how they evolve and change over the course of a campaign.
Hello! I was also a stay at home dad for a time and commend you! I have been playing TTRPGs for decades now and I love all kinds of settings and systems. My favorite thing to do is have fun and create cool stories with cool people. Very laid back and go with the flow. I am available M-F 3PM EST to 10EST!
Still recruiting? I've been playing 2014 since 2016 and follow the philosophy of "Let the dice tell the story" that I've picked up from various live-play podcasts like NADDPOD and Worlds Beyond Numbers. Fully prepared to try what I might and let the dice fall where they lay.

Hello, I like how this looks. I was wondering three things. It's 5E just to check, and if so, could we use homebrew, and the second question is how young is the youngest a player in this group could be, and finally how would we communicate, zoom, microsoft teams? These are silly questions but I just want to know if im going to join this party. :) oh! And what time srry?      My player type is: eager, kindhearted, risk-taking, humorous in a good way, laid back, trying to let the dice do their thing, and methodical.
Hi, I’m Si, I’m Nonbinary (any/all) and I’m brand new to D&D, fresh out the oven. I really only have the same questions as Sawyer, what are the age requirements, are multi class characters allowed and what times would we play?
