Hi I’m Kit! I have been playing 5e (2014) for 10 years, I am extremely roleplay focused and I take the game seriously. I’m very active in conversation and I understand rules very well. A little bit about me: I’m a 22 year old woman and I am a huge weeb, I’ve watched more anime than I can count and I adore pretty much anything shoujo manga or vocaloid related! I’m very chatty, it’s actually a bad habit how much I talk! I am an optimist and I would say I’m pretty damn funny! I am an artist so if you join, you better believe I’m gonna draw your character moments!! I basically get up in the morning for Jesus and D&D, so take that as you will! And something a bit more serious- I am a Conservative Baptist Christian and I hate talking about politics, political differences have always torn my dnd parties apart and I want to avoid that, so I thought I would state that right out the gate where I stand. I have had to hide my views from people I play with in order to not get verbally abused or kicked out of games, I have to lie to fit in and I don’t want to do that anymore. I do not hate the other side of the fence, it’s just hard to talk when a lot of people agree with the death of someone who thinks like you. You don’t need to believe like me, but I don’t particularly want to spend my time with someone who is vehemently against me. Keep it classy, folks! (You do get points if you’re also Christian though! 💖) My D&D Play Style: I am a 70/30 Roleplay to Combat ratio! I love PC and NPC romance plots and tragedy plots!! I love interesting monsters and NPCs! I’m also kind of a chatterbox so I do end up being party face when I play with quieter players. I also always play Cleric, including this time so unless you wanna twinnnn!! What I’m looking for: Other experienced players who understand the rules I understand that new people aren’t always bad at the game, but I’ve been playing games with newbies and I just want to be able to relate to my fellow players on an experienced level for once. Effort into getting into character, both as a player and as a DM Voices!! I love using voices in roleplay, and I love hearing other people use them too, especially when the DM does it!! Playing for the actual game I have had people playing with me that say they’re only there for the social aspect of D&D, and let me tell you that is the OPPOSITE of my playstyle. I am here to roleplay and tell a story. Of course I want to get along with everyone and have fun, but if you just want to get into a call to mess around and chat? This is the wrong game for you, sorry!! A long-term game!! I want to be playing this game every week for years, I want to hit high levels and explore the entire plot!! Physical dice and the honor rule I have too many expensive fancy dice to use digital dice 😭😭😭 I promise I trust you, I want to use dice together!! What I am into: Romance!! Taking watches and having deep roleplay with your watch partner! Mystery plots! Lore dumps from the DM OR players! Combat maps Character art Players with long (and tragic? 👀) backstories What I am not into: 18+ Roleplay. I’m fine with closed door fade to black, but nothing descriptive or nasty. Sandbox worlds. I want a plot to follow!! Don’t make it a guessing game!!! I’m fine even if you railroad me a little! Combat heavy campaigns. I am not against combat as a whole, but I am much more here to roleplay! Combat should serve the story!! Drinking alcohol during the game. How are you supposed to focus and lock in if you’re drunk??? I’ve tried and it didn’t end well. Joke characters like playing Kermit the frog for the laughs. Evil PCs. Or basically anyone who purposefully messes with the group. Low-magic settings. The whole fun of D&D is the magic!! We can discuss more details during session 0.
