Is it possible to turn off any automatic editing of the microphone signal? I just want Roll20 to play my audio as is, without any modifications. Can it be done? Is there an option to turn this terrible automatic volume control off?
Hi Rysz! Can you be a little more specific about what you are trying to accomplish? Are you trying to control the difference between speech and background music, or are you trying to control the volume of individual players?
I want my players to hear exactly what I'm sending. I'm mixing a few audio sources on my PC and I'm sending this mix as my microphone output through a virtual audio cable. The problem is that Roll20 applies some automatic editing and completely destroys the mix.
Sorry to say that's beyond me, technically. If you don't hear any good suggestions in the forum, you could also try the Roll20 Discord or Reddit. You could try a Help Center Request , but I don't know how likely it would be to get a useful answer.
