{LFP} Pathfinder 2E Carrion Crown seeking 1-2 players to round out long term group table ((Tuesdays 6-9 EST))

Greetings adventurers!  We are a group of four players soon beginning a run through of a Pathfinder 2E converted run of the Paizo AP Carrion Crown .  We are seeking one or two new players to round out our group for our next adventure- will you answer the call?  As a group, we tend towards rich narrative and very slow, granular pacing for our games, with a heavy focus on intraparty roleplaying and character development.  Our last campaign was a run through of the Hell's Rebels  AP in PF1e, which lasted around 5 1/2 years all told, playing generally weekly (I wasn't kidding about a slow pace).   I'm Adam (he/him) and will be GMing the campaign.  I am 40, and I've been running Pathfinder games since the first edition was launched (2009?) and ran 4e and 3e D&D before that.  I am a professional improviser, which definitely comes in handy running games.  This will be my first time running Pathfinder 2e, but we have a very experienced player at the table to help with mechanics and rules.  As a GM, I think my style tends more towards relaxed rules and I am always a fan of "rule of cool."  I would much rather spend energy and time enriching the narrative than getting bogged down in RAW rulings!  I strive towards creating personal and meaningful connections with my player's characters, adding seeds and links to their backstories and ever developing character histories.  While I use the APs as a structural guideline, I do tend to edit heavily and eventually the bones of the structure are there, but our adventure is truly a unique story that my players and I create with an extremely collaborative playstyle. We are looking for people with a love of storytelling, who are willing to invest in themselves and their fellow players around the table, and who are ready to roleplay heavily throughout the campaign.  Knowledge of PF 2e mechanics is useful, but mastery is certainly not required- we are all pretty much on a level playing field- please expect some learning curve (especially from me!).  We expect to be playing this game for quite some time, so a commitment to a long running story is important.  We are using Discord for voice during the games (and text to keep up with each other and share dumb memes through the week!) At our table, respect is rule number one!  We are a heavily LGBTQ+ group, and expect an attitude of inclusivity, patience and understanding both at the table and away from it.  Again, and I cannot stress this enough, our play style is zoomed in quite a lot- I will expect there to be sessions without combat, and even sessions where I am a GM will not say much at all, so invested are the characters in roleplaying amongst themselves.  We will be playing weekly on Tuesday evenings. About the Campaign Carrion Crown is an adventure path about fighting back the darkness in a country where the darkness has been thriving for a long time.  Ustalov is a country with a scarred past, a history of evil and decay permeating it.  Tonally, the story will lean heavily on dark fantasy and folk fantasy themes and tropes- expect monsters, creeping dread, and complications at every turn.  The player characters come together to attend the funeral of an old mentor, and get swept up into a tale with far reaching consequences, not only for themselves, but for the world at large.  Character themes of interest would be hope, fighting the darkness both internal and external, overcoming the odds, and heroic themes that will mesh well with the dark nature of the campaign.  While the table tone will be grim fantasy, we ourselves as people are anything but grim, so I would still expect many moments of levity and humor even in this campaign. We are starting as level one characters, and I will work with players to make sure they will fit into a long term campaign.  What do we need from you? Name/Nicknames Age Pronouns Do you use Discord? (no need for your tag until we have spoken via message) Tabletop experience (systems and length of time) What are you looking for in a successful gaming session/campaign/table? How would you define your personal playstyle?  What do you enjoy most about it? What is your favorite character you have played in the past?  Why are they so memorable to you? What is a question (or questions) you would ask me or the table in general? Thank you for your interest!!  Cheers!
Name/Nicknames:   Mega is fine, or you can simply call me Giuseppe. Age: 36, planning on turning 37 soon. Pronouns:  He/him Do you use Discord? (no need for your tag until we have spoken via message)  yup! Tabletop experience (systems and length of time)  i've played dnd 5e for a long time, around 8 or so years, and i've had a few sessions of pathfinder 1e and 2e, so this would be a new experience i am hoping to try.  What are you looking for in a successful gaming session/campaign/table?  A fun environment i can relax in with hopeful friends, dropping stress and simply enjoying myself.  How would you define your personal playstyle?  What do you enjoy most about it?  I personally like to helppp how i can, whether it is covering for the party when making character, to writing notes everyone can use.  Ingame, i generally play chaotically based on what i choose, since it's generally random where i end up. ^^ What is your favorite character you have played in the past?  Why are they so memorable to you?  Ilbsichord Scrutiny would have to be it, followed by Hammerfell, then Eidos Oseos.  The reason ilbsichord is so memorable is simply what he did, which was never what the party expected. He was a pixie dragon turned humanoid, and it showed in how i roleplayed. I could leave one day and come back with the BBEG of our campaign. I could find the most heart wrenching response to something in a moment, and the players' characters would be baffled in the moment, wondering how i knew.  What is a question (or questions) you would ask me or the table in general? Who wants to tell me of a old character you played for an hour or two? We can take turns.

I would like to play. I do possess the 2E rules but have never really looked at them I have to admit; I knew the 1E rules pretty well, though not visited them for a while now. I'm not LBGT etc but frankly don't care about the personal lives of other players: I'm of the school which thinks sex etc is 'off camera', and has little place in an adventure game (have encountered players who ruin the game for others by NOT adhering to that rule). I ran the first book of CC about 15 years ago, but for reasons to do with change of work had to cease attending that club. I seem to remember that of the APs I reviewed at the time it was the one I liked most: playing as a player would be great (the only other one I've run is Jade Regent). I'm pretty old - b. 1960 - my playstyle tends to be pragmatic and somewhat cynical. I like gritty, and things to make sense - even within the extended parameters of a fantasy world - no orcs in a room next to a purple worm for me. I use Discord; experienced DM/ player familiar with numerous systems. Favorite character? Hard to say. Back in my early days with old friends we played a Dark Ages Arthurian game (1980s/ 90s) using Runequest rules (without the stupid Rune Magic stuff), and ran a character called Culwen Wolfspear, who was a sort of scout/ tracker character, who turned out to be one of the most pivotal characters because the others were often forced to rely on his navigation/ wilderness acumen. He was good with a spear too. Just call me 'swamped', 'bunnies', or whatever the name of my character is.
