Bump \W Content Born in Ashabenford and risen to be a tinker by her father, Laran Ulden Tinkmaster Fireleaf and tutored in the basic ways of the arcane by her mother, Loria Makalla Sparkletooth Fireleaf. Lorilla Mika Sparklegem Fireleaf, devoloped into a experimental little firebug with a basic understanding of mechanics which turned into a very inventive young gnome. Mika had invented her first working invention at the age of thirteen soon after she met her friend in an unfortunate magic mechanical accident involving a sort of amplified fireball, which caused, in her words, 'a slightly out of control forest fire'. Just when Mika was sure it would spread firther wood elf appeared and together they smothered the fire with wood elf's damp cloak. Following that event she began to spend her time in the woods, under the watchful eyes of the wood elf, conducting experiments near the river. The next week she was excited to show her friend her fire changing fire lighter, which did not spout large fonts of fire. Alongside her flaming personality and thirst for knowledge, she took her childhood friend's advice and set out to continue her training as a wizard, in Highmoon, a newly rebuilt wizard tower was just now gaining notability there. The trip, which would have normally taken a week or more going around the daleland woods. It was a lot faster going though the dense woodland. She quickly enlisted her friend's help, Tifa, the same Woodelf who had helped her before, to guide her though the dense woodland and brush safely to the welcoming minds of the wizard's tower. The trip was pleasant enough as the small gnome made her way behind the young tracker's eyes. On the second day near the Highmoon exit of the woods, a wild boar came bursting from the brush a mere 100 feet away and begin a gore charge towards the wood elf. The panicked gnome, in desperation, she used all her energy to spin and twist the weave. Just barely able to create a momentarily illusion of flame, a flickering sheet of fire, which was just hot enough to cause the Boar to pause long enough for an arrow to fly through the illusion causing it to disappear. The sight was marking on both the adolescent fey creatures, but it also, strengthened their resolve and friendship to such a degree that they became inseparable friends. Once in Highmoon, they would spend their free time, talking of adventures and great magical mysteries that the young gnome would solve, with the help of her friend and a group of hearty dwarves or valiant humans. Mika spent her time training in the wizard's tower, mastering what she could and spreading her horizons by absorbing as much was offered to her. Her mentor, Vixie Lestwinkle Shiverboot apprentice of, Tharden Vane Thorten Winklestaff, who was the apprentice of the great gnome wizard Larus Volough Tharten Thunderclap. Vixie knew a stunning evocationist when she saw one. Despite being a gnome, she taught her gnomish student the deadly arts of fire control, but also drilled the importance of the ways of illusion. Years passed, filled with memorization and study had steadied the young gnome's mind and hand. Soon she felt her time at the wizard's tower was starting to become less filled with learning and more time with study of magical artifacts. The draw of power, history and most of all adventure had begun to push the adult gnome towards the life outside of the tower. Finally, one day Vixie came to her student who was playing with a tinker toy she had made in her free time and basically told her she had taught all she could, "Go Mika, you are talking everyone to death about the exotic lands and treasures hidden in them. You have the itch that only some gnomes get. Go out and serve the Wizard's Tower as best you can." Mika left that moment and went to her friend, easily convincing her to leave her life in Highmoon behind, to finally make true on all their youthful boasting. TL;DR [This is my character's backstory, I didn't want something grandiose and neither did my friend. We went with talented, yet young adventurers, who have just left their life behind.]
