Token Action Macro Bar: Re-ordering of Buttons & Customizable Button Colors

Score + 8
Hello Roll20 team, After spending a weekend setting up many macros in my games, I’d like to suggest two improvements to the Token Action Macro Bar in Jumpgate: Customizable Button Colours – Enable each token-action button to have a user-selectable background or highlight colour (just like the macro bar at the bottom of the window). This visual distinction would help GMs and players quickly identify and differentiate actions, especially during a fast-paced session. Re-ordering of Buttons – Allow token-action buttons to be manually reordered by the user (via drag-and-drop or a “move up/down” control). Currently they populate in the creation order, which can make organization cumbersome when actions are added or removed mid-campaign. Implementing these features would significantly improve workflow, clarity, and usability of token actions in large or complex campaigns. Thanks for considering this-— I enjoy working with the new engine and appreciate all your work on Jumpgate.

Hi John,  First, +1. I agree that more control is needed.  Next, as a workaround you can reorganize the token action macro bar by reorganizing them on the Character's Attributes and Abilities tab. Just make sure you have "Alphabetically sort token actions" turned off (in the My Settings tab). Note: the reason I call it a workaround is because it doesn't apply to all Token Actions. For example, if you are using Collection tab macros they cannot be reorganized.  Additionally, Beacon sheets are also restricted in how they are organized. The sheet seems to trump most of the organization options.  So as a result I recommend using Macro Mules that are on the old style (not Beacon) sheets. That way you have full control over the organization of the Token Action bar.

There is already a suggestion on that topic: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4356176/moving-macro-buttons-and-colored-token-actions" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4356176/moving-macro-buttons-and-colored-token-actions</a> Maybe you could join forces there?
