Quick update : We are still looking for 1 player. Hello everyone, I am AxP and I'm the DM. I am currently planning a homebrew campaign that feels and tastes like a 5.e campaign you’d expect, but with homebrewed locations, names etc. But you will still be able to find the classic monsters such as owlbears, mimics, dragons etc. We have already settled on 4 players, and we have played together for about 2.5 years, with a bit of that time being IRL downtime, in another campaign that I ran, although some joined later. So for this new campaign we would like to add 2 new players to our roster, for what is hopefully going to be a long and fun adventure for all. Our Time slot for the new campaign isn’t set in stone yet, but likely on Fridays/Saturdays from 5 pm to 10 pm with a potential break for food etc. But don't let that discourage you from applying, as I believe we can be somewhat flexible on time. More importantly, the campaign is set to start some time in late January, and in the time leading up to it we will be talking about characters, plot, backstory etc. and getting to know each other through a session 0 and so on.  We haven't decided on which version of dnd we want to play yet, either 5.e or 5.5(2024), so this part is open for discussion. As for the direction of the campaign, it is leaning towards a healthy mix between Combat and RP, with some elements of exploration. We are looking for players who want to play for a long time, so a dedication for a long campaign is valued highly, along with people respecting each other's time(being on time) and having basic behaviors/manners, to not be “that guy”. And we will be using discord for our voice communication.  The basic requirements: Age 18+, English speaking.  New player friendly Right attitude / right fit for the group 5 hours of play, weekly. To begin with i would simply like to know if any of this interests you, and if so, let me know by stating your name / age / country, roughly how much dnd experience you have, which version, a little bit about the 3 pillars of dnd (combat, RP, exploration) that you enjoy/expect to see. And basic stuff for the character(s)/roles you are willing to play.
Heya! I sent you a message in regards to this game :) felt a little awkward talking about myself so publicly XD
Hello AxP, read over the post and I fit the first, second, fourth and hopefully basic requirement lol If you want to msg me directly please do at discord: the_one_true_kreek Here's the basic info you wanted along with the request to join the game :> Name: Boris Age: 20 Country: Somewhere in the balkans :p Experience: Plenty as a DM and a bit less as a player but I've enjoyed every rare time I've played, to quantify it I have played for over 5 years with almost always running in a campaign and half the time playing in one, played mostly in the 2014 version but I have been experimenting with 24 version as well. Of the 3 pillars I love the combination of exploration and rp, finding traps, solving puzzles, triggering mysteries all the while giving bits and pieces of the character I'm playing and seeing how the other players face the challenges and show more of their story. I enjoy complicated dungeon crawls, and combat that is more then a stat check.  As for the characters, well I have too many ideas, so I would rather hear what the world has to offer before deciding. I am willing to play anything, but happier to play spellcasters or skill monkeys
Hello, colour me interested. I am Rosletyne or Ros for short, 46, from Finland. I have quite a bit of experience, having first played D&D in school, a couple proper campaigns in university, and several campaigns online on Roll20 since covid. My last group broke up due to the DMs work schedule changing after four years, now looking for a new one. Most of my experience is with 5e from 2014, but not averse to the latest edition either (though it appears to have some bugs on Roll20). I am available on most Saturdays, and should be on time. I may need a day off from time to time though, since I play in an orchestra, which has some rehearsals and maybe concerts taking place on weekends. No more than about four or five times a year though. I'm not particularly interested in the combat side of D&D, though character motivations and creative use of skills certainly help. I like characters with interesting backgrounds, both playing them and getting to know characters of others. And exploration is of course always a pleasure. Who does not like a good mystery to solve or new location to admire? My characters tend to be grounded, not driven by power or glory, but by something simply human. As far as classes go, I have quite liked paladins and clerics (combat ability combined with magic) and wizards (so much room for creativity with magic). You can contact me on Discord, where my username is also Rosletyne. Don't know if I'm the right fit, but would like to have a chat and find out.
Hello everyone, thanks for showing interest, ill try and get back to you when i can, as I'm also waiting on responses from other people who are private messaging etc.  Notably I've changed the time slot to be Friday/Saturday, but with a higher chance of it being on Fridays, hope that doesn't change anything for you.  Thanks again! :)
Sure! So my name is generally Giuseppe, i am 37 years old, and in the usa.   I have played dnd for around 8 years, pretty sure, mostly in 5e, but i have dabbled in pathfinder 1e and 2e.  I love the 3 pillars, but on average, i am 30/30/40, and am expecting to see more rp on average, based on what i read.  Which is fine, i enjoy it all, just exploring the world, learning stuff is my favorite parts of these ttrpgs.  As far as characters and or roles, i generally decide when i join, not before, so i can work on it with the party. Whether that is because i want to combine backgrounds with another player, or integrate something we learn about the setting into it, i never know! As far as characters, i generally prefer martials over casters, but i do love a good caster if necessary. The only classes i really don't touch are bards and artificers, but for personal reasons. Hope to hear back from you!

Hey everyone, we still have one open spot, if anyone is interested, hit me up either privately or on the comment board as others have, and ill get back to you when i can :)
I'm Cameron, or go by Wasabi online. I'm 29 and have been playing TTRPG's for over ten years. It's been fairly on and off but I'm looking to dive back into it now that my schedule is secure. I'm in the USA, but I work nights and can make the time you laid out for the game. I'm not the most exciting guy around, I'm a huge nerd and play games like Age of Empires, Civilization, and Chess... but still enjoy getting lost in indie games like Hollow Knight where you can feel the Love poured into every inch of it.  I'd love to have a chance to play D&D again with a bigger group, and learn about the world you've got in mind so that I can help bring it to life. My experience with TTRPG's comes from D&D 3.5, 4e, 5e, Pathfinder 2e, and even smaller systems like Stars without Number and Wild Imaginary West. I've had my time behind the DM screen, and have slid into many genres and tables over the years though my preference usually lies within Combat and Roleplay. Exploration can be fun, but I'd rather let somebody else who enjoys it take the spotlight in those moments. Which is why I typically don't gravitate towards Rangers. I'd like to get to know the world a bit more before designing a character and getting attached. But I've had ideas in mind to play a more militant and/or older character with a wizened approach. Or, if it fits with the table, I'm happy to play a Gnomish Trickster and embrace chaos. I look forward to hearing from you, be it good or bad news, and wish you luck on your new adventure.
