Welcome to Ashes of Konoha , a Naruto 5E play-by-post campaign set in an alternate timeline where none of the canon characters were ever born and the world you know from the anime never unfolded. There is no Naruto, no Sasuke, no Akatsuki only you, your squad, and a shinobi world on the brink. This is a story that draws heavily from the tone and atmosphere of early Naruto Tension behind every mission. The constant weight of violence and duty. The brutal truth that not every shinobi gets to grow up. Bonds that matter, and consequences that hurt. Expect a dark, character driven campaign with political intrigue, moral dilemmas, and missions where the margin of error is razor thin. Lot of role play Setting Overview The Land of Fire is strained. Border disputes simmer, missing-nin activity is on the rise, and Konoha’s foundations are shaking under secrets the village elders refuse to acknowledge. The Genin you play will be shaped by a world harsher and more uncertain than the one shown in the anime where even the “Will of Fire” flickers in the wind. You will begin as Leaf shinobi , freshly assigned to a squad under a jonin sensei NPC. Your team matters. Your choices matter. Survival is not guaranteed. Player Requirements To maintain the tone and quality of the campaign: ✔ 21+ years old This is a mature, darker story and will explore themes unsuitable for younger players. ✔ Good written English This is a writing focused PbP game.
