The Jedi and the Republic debate the next moves to secure victory. Should the Sith be eradicated? Should those loyal to their dark Empire be given amnesty? Some even talk of disbanding the Republic Military completely. The Mandalorians, once allies to the Sith, now fight for the light under a new leader who is both Mandalorian and Jedi. What happens to this alliance when there is no longer a common enemy? Naturally such a power vacuum creates opportunities for merchants, pirates, smugglers, bounty hunters and all kinds of privateers to earn profit and power. Set a thousand years before the movies, in the final years before the rise of Darth Bane and the Rule of Two, Star Wars: Third Contact will explore the difficult choices that must be made to secure a new golden age. This will be a weekly game. We will take some holidays off and of course life happens to all of us, but skipped sessions will be rare, with as much notice as possible when they do happen. I intend for the game to last 2-3 years and reach level 20, but cannot guarantee any timeframe. Current Roster Level 16 as of December 5, 2025 Amara Starborne: Chiss, Operative, Sentinel: An espionage specialist with a history that is unknown, even to her. Amara is seeking answers to who she is and where she came from. Elac: Human Jedi Consular: A quintessential Jedi Knight, Elac holds to the values of the Jedi Order, even as the Galaxy seems to fall into darkness all around him. Fenrir: Human Fighter: Fenrir is a Mandalorian warrior with an explosive personality. His clan was dishonored and now he seeks redemption and/or Satea, Zabrak, Assault Fighter: His companions have described him as "a walkinmg war machine." Republic Commando, Satea brings his tactical know how to the table. Game Progress We are at level 16 and plan to go all the way to level 20. This campaign likely has about a year left. This is a great opportunity to join a reliable group with great chemistry as we delve into the deepest mysteries. Tools used Roll20 will be our virtual table-top which we will use for maps, music, and other visual aids. Discord will be our primary means of communication, with dedicated voice and text channels for the game. Our rule books are located on the SW5E Website . You cna use their character builder or build manually on Roll20. About the GM My Strengths Over 30 years experience gaming with every kind of group. Reliable long-term games : Over 90% of my campaigns finish as scheduled. Cancelled sessions are very rare. Flexibility and Communication so we can work together to tell a great story. Tactical combat : I understand the rules but do not let them bog us down. Storytelling: Sometimes the 'Rule of Cool' is how legends are made. My Limitations I am not a voice actor, especially when it comes to accents. With this in mind, I work to make interactions memorable in other ways. I can be forgetful. I keep notes to help alleviate this. I also give incentives to players who choose to help recap and take notes.
