Pathfinder 1E Community Sheet Questions

#1: One of my characters is a gestalt arcanist/wizard. Needless to say, at level 8, he has a lot of spells...and the sheet is lagging badly. Is there a way to fix this or is that just a limitation of Roll20/the sheet? High-speed fiber internet and a decent gaming computer, so I don't think it's on my end. #2: When dragging creatures from the bestiary to put them into my game, the sheet always locks up instead of opening. I end up needing to close the sheet and then reopen it onto the NPC page and drag in the stat block. I assume this is not intended behavior. :) Again, is there a way to fix this, or is this again just a limitation of the platform? Thank you in advance for any advice/answers!

Hi Raiukage, the PF community sheet was created a lonnnnng time ago. The last major change to the sheet was 2019 with only minor updates since. Parts of the sheet even go back as far as 2015. Definitely pre-"official by roll20" sheets. There have been many sheet and vtt enhancements that have happened since 2019 as well. It was a beast of a sheet in it's day but it is definitely feeling it's age.&nbsp; It is still a great sheet and highly customizable/flexible but as you push it with more and more attributes it will begin to slow down. #1 Spells are problematic because each spell adds about 25+ attributes to a sheet that already has over 2500 to start.&nbsp; This has been brought up numerous times in the past and not just the PF sheet.&nbsp; Here's a thread that gives a little more detail in regards to the PF community sheet&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9910697/pathfinder-roll20-1st-ed-character-sheet-slow-loading/?pagenum=1" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9910697/pathfinder-roll20-1st-ed-character-sheet-slow-loading/?pagenum=1</a> &nbsp;This is not as much of an issue with modern sheets because there have been many sheet building and VTT enhancements in recent years and the fact the community has gotten more skilled at creating powerful and efficient sheets.&nbsp; #2 I'm fairly certain you have always had to drag/drop to the monster statblock. There's something in the sheet FAQ here <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Pathfinder_Community_Sheet#FAQ" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Pathfinder_Community_Sheet#FAQ</a> Again, some of these features were on the PF sheet before the compendium became "standardized".&nbsp; Big changes happened in no small part due to D&amp;D 5e's popularity, so many of these processes were changed long after the PF sheet already had a system in place.&nbsp;&nbsp; I'll see what can be done about updating the sheet to allow easier drag/drop. (example; you currently need to drag and drop to a new repeating row, or drag/drop to the monster statblock import page, etc.) The sheet deserves a refactoring with all the modern sheet options available to us currently, but it is a HUGE undertaking... Cheers &nbsp;
Thank you very much for the prompt reply. Honestly, the sheet works fine, even with all the spells, it just lags and takes forever when adding new stuff, heh. If y'all have the time and energy for the undertaking, believe me, it'd be greatly appreciated, but as it stands, it's running great for a sheet released so long ago! Yeah, if you just try to pull a monster from the bestiary onto the map...well, it creates a sheet in your game with the name of the creature, the sheet pulls up with a spinning dice like it's trying to auto-populate, and sometimes the token even appears on the map where you dropped it...but it never actually populates, so I just take advantage of the feature for the fact that it creates the sheet with a token picture if the critter has bestiary art and don't wait for the auto-populate that never works. Not a big deal. All in all, the community sheet is still my favorite of all the PF1E sheets, even with its quirks. And thanks for making the Custom field editable for feat/ability source - it's much appreciated!
