Hi all - I know these posts are a dime a dozen, but you know what they say about desperate times! I am posting on behalf of myself and my husband. I have been a forever DM in our friend group for a number of years now, and so we are reaching out into the void in search for a game where we can be players together again (since it's actually how we met!) and hopefully make some long lasting friendships inside and outside of a campaign along the way <3 So, what do we bring to the table? I'm glad you asked! We both have nearly a decade of tabletop experience each, with 5th edition D&D far in a way being our favorite, but we are open to other similar systems. We prefer a healthy mix of combat and roleplay, but strong storytelling and roleplay elements especially are where we thrive. If you're looking for players that really get immersed into a world and their characters, we're exactly the players you're looking for! As far as theming goes, there are no holds barred! From silly/quirky to serious/macabre we will be happy as long as there are no restrictions on magic users (I am a shameless cleric main, and my husband prefers casters typically as well). While we typically prefer your classic Faerun-esque settings, we're adaptable in that area as well! Additionally, with my long standing experience as a DM, I would also be more than happy to lend my experience to our DM and assist in any way I can/you see fit!
