This is an impressive opportunity to get-in a longstanding campaign. I'm not in this one, but I have played in DM Al's adventures on Roll20 before and heard some stories of the Amber group. There is a lot of depth there. Check out this LFG post, Tavern folk. Nice clear pitch DM Al. Thanks for sharing your pitch here for Roll2E. May you find just the right player-characters. Happy adventuring.

Riese click on Al's Details link above. It tells a bit more about his offering. It is not a Castle Amber campaign, but is higher level than that, and refers in some way to the amber trade, the amber road -- some historical references as I gather.
Amber figures prominently in Chronomancy, time magic, the inspiration is Roger Zelasny's Nine Princes in Amber books. This game is all self written material, dating back from about 1994 when it launched. Characters start with 125,000 XP and a sprinkle of magic items. The overarching plot is to repair a fault in time.
Sounds like a great campaign, but I need to decline. Time and day are in conflict. I DM for my kids and their cousins on the weekend, or otherwise I still have my children (from divorce) and wont be able to make that time slot. Thanks for the invite though....I don't think any of my characters ever lived to reach those level. I know I often try to not let my players; they get to cocky lol.
I would love to get in on this campaign! I will email the DM to put something together!
