Copying monster tokens continues to create duplicates that do not work

1. Browser: Opera (can't find version) 2. extensions: none 3. OS: Windows 11 When I attempt to copy a token on the map in order to keep the token bar information the same, it creates a duplicate perfectly fine, but moving that duplicate reveals 3 more duplicates, none of which have the token bar information. deleting them deletes the original intended duplicate. I have a screen recording uploaded to youtube  here . I have not had this issue before, and have used the copy paste method of duplication to make many tokens in order so that I do not have to keep editing the token bar information.

Hi Gideon,  What happens when you use a supported browser? Ie: Chrome or Firefox.
I do not have chrome or firefox, but I've been using roll20 on Opera for over a year and have never had this issue, even up until a couple of months ago when I last copied and pasted tokens

Heck, it even makes duplicates sometimes when I *didnt* copy the token. The only way I've found to actually get rid of the duplicates is to move to a different pag e and then go back to the one i'm working on

Hi Gideon! This is a known bug, unfortunately. Changing the page, or better, refreshing the game is the only way to fix it that I know of. It might be more common in some browsers than in others. I encounter it maybe once every other session (on Chrome). This bug did not exist under legacy, but legacy had its own bugs. I hope that Roll20 eventually finds a solution, because it is indeed annoying. It's my understanding that it is some kind of refresh/timing issue, but that's way beyond my skill and knowledge. You might be able to decrease its occurrence by deleting cache and cookies.
I'll see if deleting my cookies helps! Glad it isn't just a me problem, I thought my computer was freaking out but it kept happening
Same issue here, using Chrome (143.0.7499.193 Official Build 64-bit), Win 11. Though the players use various browsers, Opera and whatnot. Every game, at least half the group, but most of the time it affects everyone over the whole session, they will move their character token or pull in a new one and have fake duplicates cast wherever they move, sometimes with up to 6 copies, and they have no idea what is the real one until they refresh. Same for tokens that aren't theirs, like when using radius images for spell areas. It's been an issue for months.

I’ve never seen this in my Jumpgate games, but I always launch in a Chrome Incognito or Firefox Private Browsing window.
