Looking For Players | Anime | POP Culture | DC | Marvel

Following Interest In This RP | Slice Of Life Fantasy Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk/Paranormal/Horror/Anime/Pop Culture Hello — thanks for reading. My group is recruiting a few new players for ongoing tabletop sessions. Below is exactly what to expect and how to apply. Overview We run multiple games on a semi-regular schedule; sessions are planned case-by-case. We use a custom homebrew system inspired by creature-collecting and anime-style worlds, but it is not an official system. Gameplay mixes mechanics with heavy roleplay focus. Some storylines include mature or romantic themes. This is an 18+ only group. What I Expect From Players Respectful, reliable, and communicative. Willing to use consent tools (boundaries, X-card, safewords, and clear limits). Comfortable with mature themes only if you opt in; you can decline and set limits. Flexible with character roles when needed for group balance; preferences are always discussed. Vetting Process Apply: Send contact handles and a short bio (availability, experience, comfort with mature themes, and hard boundaries). Review: I select people for interviews. Interview: Quick talk to check chemistry and expectations. Trial: Short test session. Final pick: Limited slots; roughly first-come among good fits. Final choice is mine as GM. How to Apply Send: Contact handle(s) Timezone and availability Brief experience Whether you consent to mature themes I will check DMs here and reach out for interviews. More Details Before Joining Campaign Format Stories are broken into small arcs. You don’t need to join every arc to understand the world. This avoids people dropping mid-story and breaking campaigns. Longer arcs may happen later, but short arcs are the current focus. System & GM Style The system is homebrew and still evolving. Rules are guidelines, not strict law. I prioritize story and roleplay over strict mechanics. Mechanics exist mainly to support players who enjoy structure. The system and themes may change over time based on interest. Visuals & Presentation I create all player visuals and tokens. Includes animated portraits and animated in-game tokens. Over time, production quality will increase. Focus is on immersive visuals for idle, action, emotional, and adult-only scenes. Mature Content (18+ Only) Some arcs may include romance or intimate themes. Always opt-in, always consensual. Boundaries are respected at all times. You can change limits whenever you want.
We are looking for more people feel free to reach out~!
18+ Roleplay Group Recruiting | Story-Driven | Freeform | Mature Themes Hello — thanks for reading. I’m recruiting a small number of players for an ongoing story-first, roleplay-heavy project hosted on Roll20. Please read carefully; this is not a traditional tabletop campaign . What This Is 18+ only. No exceptions. A freeform, episodic roleplay project with strong focus on character interaction, atmosphere, and mature subject matter. Genres vary by arc and may include: fantasy, sci-fi/cyberpunk, paranormal, horror, anime, and pop-culture settings. This is not D&D, Pathfinder, or a rules-heavy system . Think actors collaborating on scenes , not players optimizing builds. Important Clarity (Read This) This project does include mature, adult-only roleplay content . Participation means actively engaging in those scenes , not observing from the sidelines. There is no fade-to-black approach in applicable arcs. Consent, boundaries, and opt-in rules are mandatory and enforced. This is not focused on combat, gore, or shock violence . If that description makes you unsure, this is probably not the right group for you. Characters & Casting You will be playing canon / pop-culture / pre-existing characters . Characters are assigned by me . No auditions for specific roles. Original characters are not available at the start and may be considered later for long-term, trusted members only. Players are expected to handle multiple roles over time . Avoid self-inserts. This is collaborative storytelling, not wish-fulfillment. Structure & Format Stories are told in short, episodic arcs . You do not need full knowledge of past arcs to join new ones. This prevents long lore dumps and keeps entry easy for new players. Continuity exists, but accessibility comes first. System & Mechanics There is no system at launch . Over time, light mechanics may be added only if they improve play . Any mechanics will be simple, flexible, and agreed upon by the group. Creature-collector elements exist for world flavor and aesthetics , not as a game system. GM / Direction Style I act as a director and facilitator , not a rules arbiter. Story and roleplay come first. Rules (if any) serve the scene — not the other way around. We are open to collaborating with other GMs if expectations align . Visuals & Presentation I provide custom visuals, tokens, and animated assets . Presentation quality will improve over time. Visuals support different scene tones (idle, emotional, intense, etc.). Player Expectations Reliable communication. Respect for boundaries and consent tools. Willingness to treat this as a long-term creative project , not a one-off. Comfort with rotating roles and ensemble storytelling. Vetting Process Application (DM): Contact handle(s) Timezone & availability RP experience Confirmation of comfort with mature themes Hard boundaries Interview (short voice or text chat) Trial session Final selection (limited slots; GM decision) Final Note This project exists to: Build strong roleplay skills Tell contained, engaging stories Avoid bloated lore, system burnout, and player churn If you’re looking for strict mechanics, character ownership, or traditional tabletop play, this will not be a good fit. If you’re still interested after reading everything above, DM me.
I hope this new listing will fix confusion
Hey, curious. I see storyline details but not what the actual story would be. What is the story you want to tell with this game? What kind of things happen?

Scion said: Hey, curious. I see storyline details but not what the actual story would be. What is the story you want to tell with this game? What kind of things happen? Before either of us accidentally wastes time, I want to clarify this upfront. I’m also writing this out so it applies to anyone else who may have the same questions. I understand that the listing does not describe a single, specific story. That is intentional. This project is episodic , not a single ongoing narrative. Stories are self-contained and usually resolve in one session , or occasionally two. Each session functions as its own complete arc with a beginning, middle, and end. Multiple sessions mean multiple completed stories, not one long campaign. Because of that, the content and themes can change from session to session. There is no single “main plot” you’re joining. While I do develop long-term lore in the background, I intentionally leave room to adjust or retcon elements as needed. One session might lean toward a creature-focused setting, while another could shift into a completely different anime or pop-culture-inspired direction. I want to be very clear about expectations. While there is story and narrative structure, the primary focus of this project is adult, erotic roleplay . This is not a group you should join if you are expecting: A long, heavily plot-driven campaign Full freedom to create and play any character you want The option to avoid participating in erotic scenes A text-only experience — voice participation is required If any of the above are deal-breakers, this will not be a good fit. These stories are meant to be taken seriously, but they are not about building a single evolving mega-plot. The subject matter can vary widely, and flexibility is intentional. The expectation is that you are approaching this more as an actor , portraying multiple roles across different scenarios, rather than developing one personal character over time. Additionally, there will be intimate, adult, not-safe-for-work themes that participants are expected to voice and actively engage in . Everyone joining through Roll20 is expected to participate; this is not a spectator role. To answer your question about what actually happens during sessions: the general flow is story setup, intimate scenes, then story resolution , and that cycle repeats across different episodes. Finally, do not come into this expecting a heavy or crunchy system. There is no system in use at the start . Mechanics would only ever be added later if the right long-term group forms and everyone involved wants that. Even then, they would remain light and secondary to roleplay. That’s everything I wanted to clarify. Thanks for reading.
SPECIAL UPDATE: We are planning on doing games with systems, We were thinking on doing it with D&D but depending on whos out there we can do other things also. So note originally it was free form but we are actually doing system stuff.
