5e Charactermancer not showing backgrounds for shared content

I'm a DM and I own nearly all of the 5e D&D books on Roll20.  I was creating a new character, but the charactermancer does not show any of the background options except the PhB.  All of the books I own (Tasha's, Xanathars, MMotM, etc) are shared under game settings, yet nothing shows in charactermancer.   Welcome help and thoughts. -James

Hello, apologies for the delay. I am using the D&D 5e 2014 character sheet.

Are you creating the character in Roll20 Characters or in a game?

I am creating the character in the game.  I also am able to see all of the races from the books. For example, I own Monsters of the Multiverse, so I can select Shadr Kai as a race. I can also see background from Spell Jammer, but not from any other book that I own except PHB.

First thing, type the name of the book in the compendium see if the book comes up. Second, check the books that you are sharing, make sure they are highlighted green. If they are redlisted people (including yourself) will not be able to use them in the game.

They are all in my compendium and highlighted green.
