UPDATE: SOLVED Just sending the Share link did not work at all. I had to use his email address to send to the invite.  He keeps getting this  the result below. He has an account. Any idea what I need to check? Game was created in November, past. |
First thought is are they logged in? Second thought is do they show as a member of the game on the game page?...
Thanks, he should be logged in - his account name seems to be showing on the message he sent me. He's not showing as a member. I'm not sure how to do that, I thought the invitation accomplished that?
I can't send any update to this. I don't know what is happening with the forums.

This is what would happen if..... If you created the Share Invite link, and then you Kicked someone else out of the game. Every time you do "Kick Player" it generates a new fresh invite link code & invalidates all past invite links.  Not sure if that's what happened here.

No, that's not what happened here, though. :) It turns out he was unable to create a character using the URL from Share Link.  I had to invite by using an email address and he got in. Let's see if the forums lets me post this! :) I tried before with a screen shot and kept getting errors.
