Delta Green... Come Get Some!

It has been said, many times, so long ago…”The Truth is Out There.” I can promise you, it is! But did you know… “Knowledge Is Death?”   DELTA GREEN I am looking for just a handful of players. Players who aren’t afraid to find the “Truth.” Players willing, to take a bite from, “The Poison Apple.” Delta Green is by far the best RPG System I have ever encountered. I have extensive experience GMing several RPG systems, and well as military board games… But Delta Green exceeds them all in both versatility, and in the pure joy to run.   I’ve played all editions of DnD (Not 4 th ), Traveller, and Call of Cthulhu to include running Masks of Nyarlathotep. I ran Masks 4 times!... However… I never made it more than about 20 sessions into that Monster of a Campaign. FYI: 20 sessions is just shy, of the halfway point, in that juggernaut. I tell you now… 20 sessions is a LIFE TIME with Internet players. As the song goes… “I can’t quit you babe, so I’m just gona put you down for a while.”   So… Dan what is Delta Green? Think of it as X-Files infused with Call of Cthulhu… HP Lovecraftian in style. The year is 2018. Pre-Pandemic. You have been recruited by a US Federal agency with the D.O.D, known only as the “Program.” Code Name: Delta Green. I am now putting out the Call… The Call For Adventure… Will you answer? Prerequisites:     1) A “Decent” Laptop or PC. Perhaps, I have neglected to drill down enough, on some of the finer points of the Delta Green System. It is very much rooted in the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition game, but not a simple re-skinning. It’s as if, those who designed DG, asked themselves how to make CoC7E, even a better game, than it already is. Is that even possible Dan? CoC7E itself, is a fantastic game! I Know… Right? But… yup… they did! Delta Green is now my “Go To” Game System. In fact, if I ever run Masks again, I would for sure be using DG and not CoC7E… In any Era… Be it 1925 or 2025 … Delta Green is it for me now!   Also, in my Games here on R20, I make extensive use of ScriptCards . Dynamic Lighting, Outstanding Maps, the Heavy use of PhotoShop, all driven home with ScriptCards , and POW! That’s all the makings of a Killer Time!
