Letters or Numbers to Status Indicator Overlays

The ability to be able to add either one to three letters, numbers and symbols as a Status Indicator Overlay.  The colors and X markers are great, but it would be nice to have the ability to add a letter or number for marking specific conditions or effects happening to that specific token. Example: ( -2 ) Status Overlay to indicate -2 to Attack Rolls, ( +2 ) Status Overlay to indicate +2 to Attack Rolls, etc...

+! sounds like a good idea, I think I've seen a few suggestions relating to this and the bubbles as well.  Everyone wants more. :)

Its not perfect, but I just found out the other day you can type in short text into the bubbles.  There are only three and they don't show unless the token is selected, but you can put text in there. :)

I looked through the forums and it seems like this is the best place to ask about this.  I'm new to Roll20 and thus far am very much enjoying it.  I'm wondering if there are any plans to allow GM's to add overlays to character tokens.  I've created symbolic and name overlays for spell effects, bleeding effects, and bloodied effects in my actual tabletop game; I've experimented with dropping those .png's on top of the tokens, and it works great, but if I could add them to the token (with the dots and X), it would be a heck of a lot easier than switching to the GM layer to grab them, place them on the character token, and then group them to the character token.  Thanks.
That would be a good idea. Also, I'd imagine grouping them with the token makes it harder to access the token attributes.
