[LFP][5e 2014/2024][EST][Saturdays][Later Nights][9PM EST-12AM EST][Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden][Forgotten Realms][Open World]Looking for 1 more to join us for a newer adventure this evening

I am currently looking for a friendly adventurer to join us this evening after a previous player has had to drop due to circumstances outside their control. The campaign I am currently running at the moment is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden where Auril is causing chaos in the Icewind Dale region and plunging it into a time with an exceptionally harsh winter. Here is a small summary of the campaign with some general details. "In Icewind Dale, adventure is a dish best served cold. Beneath the unyielding night sky, you stand before a towering glacier and recite an ancient rhyme, causing a crack to form in the great wall of ice. Beyond this yawning fissure, the Caves of Hunger await. And past this icy dungeon is a secret so old and terrifying that few dare speak of it. The mad wizards of the Arcane Brotherhood long to possess that which the god of winter’s wrath has so coldly preserved—as do you! What fantastic secrets and treasures are entombed in the sunless heart of the glacier, and what will their discovery mean for the denizens of Icewind Dale? Can you save Ten-Towns from the Frostmaiden’s everlasting night?" This campaign will take players to level 12 with a slow narrative burn and have opportunities for various RP with occasional combat and the ending will play out depending on the actions of the players involved. If you are looking for a story that is slow but satisfying then look no further. This is a TLDR and other info for those that want it: We are currently looking for 1 player. This will be a later night game. Our session times are later in the evening and take place from 9AM and go until 12AM EST. Our current platform that the campaign takes place over is Roll20 and Discord for voice with the occasional theatre of the mind. The overall style of the campaign will be based in the Icewind Dale region of the Forgotten Realms setting This campaign will be 1-12 with the occasional combat and many opportunities for RP. This campaign will be 60/40 RP to combat. Requirements from players: Good audio quality for Discord Comfortable with heavy RP at times. An vivid imagination for fun but entertaining storytelling. A basic understanding of 5e rules. If interested leave an application below with some info telling me about yourself. I will be conducting interviews over voice through this evening and will leave this posting open until the chair at the table is filled. Cheers! :) Name? Age? Experience: Discord: Tell me a little bit about yourself: What makes you stand out?

Name: Diego/DJ (whichever you prefer)  Age: 38 Experience: Itermidiate, about 3 long term in person campaigns (one of which I've DMd for), played a few one off since early 5th editions as well.  Discord: djrg. Tell me a little about yourself: I'm a lover of good fantasy (Lord of the Rings, Witcher series are my favorites). Been looking to improve my DnD game over the last couple years.  What makes you stand out? I tend to take TTRPGs seriously, but I don't hesitate to go into funnier scenarios if that's where the scene is going. I enjoy getting deep into a character and doing some good combat.
Name: Yohan Age: 30 Experience: 15 yrs of TTRPGs, DMing & playing D&D 3.5, 5e; Star Wars SAGA, FFG; GURPS; Mutants & Masterminds Discord: dontca11mebymyname Tell me a little about yourself: I am a pretty chill person. I work in the mental health field, which is richly rewarding. I am also a homebody, so when not at work, I just watch tv, play videogames, or play TTRPGs (I have a game I play on Fridays). What makes you stand out: Honestly, I don't like to stand out. It's not something I try to do. So I leave that to others to determine what makes me stand out, and its been all manner of things.
