Hello there adventurers! It is I, Kris, the forever DM, here once again to give you a story that you will never forget. Come with me to the land of make-believe and find yourself whisked away into the world of Dungeons and Dragons, where there is never a shortage of quests or places to see! “Who am I?” you ask. I am a simple man, 37 years old, who lives to build stories and remains endlessly captivated by the narratives players weave into the worlds I help shape. I first stepped into Dungeons & Dragons in my early teens, growing up in the backwoods of Pennsylvania, a place not unlike Icewind Dale in spirit, where cold edges, quiet woods, and long distances shape the imagination and leave a lasting imprint that still echoes with me today. I have been a Dungeon Master since the moment I entered the hobby, and over time that passion naturally evolved into paid DMing. With 8–9 years of paid Dungeon Master experience dating back to before COVID, I specialize in long-term groups that stay together, grow together, and see full campaigns through to completion. "How are you different from the others?" I think what helps me stand out from the average DM is my persistent dedication to the craft; I’m constantly picking up new voices to use, I’m always working on my map making abilities , I fiddle around with music, creating background tracks and intros for my modules , I search vtt stores for map packs , find or make npc photos for those not available in the modules , and on top of all that, I lore dive constantly, rereading the old novels, or researching the Forgotten Realms wiki for information. With my innate dedication it comes naturally that I find myself always trying to bring a high level of immersion and satisfaction to each player, with each game feeling different than the last depending on the setting. Sidenote: I like to do little ease of play things as well, like health bar scripts so you can see players/enemies hp drop, potion macro for players to roll easier, better token markers for conditions , add in a calendar script, stuff of that nature. I am vigilant to say the least, I don’t take days off unless it is an absolute emergency, and I respond to my players in a timely fashion. DND isn’t necessarily my life, but it is a job I love with all my heart, and I give it everything I have. I don't expect players to feel the same, some of my most consistent players are just looking for a hack and slash, but I work hard to provide them with that. I run for a variety of very loyal players, who have a wide range of playing styles, some of them being into the theater of it all, while others are looking to make fart jokes. It’s  YOUR  game, I’m just here to help provide you with the best experience possible while adjudicating the rules. As for things like the rules, I run RAW, but don’t mind homebrew rules like bonus action potion or flanking giving advantage or +2. I leave that up to the group, and discuss it at session 0  (which is free) . I allow any book that is RAW as well, there are no restrictions on character classes/races unless the group self imposes in session 0  (again free). I am open to running  any module , but I do have some intros written for certain ones already as I have run them numerous times. In addition to running published content, I design original modules and offer a range of homebrew material to extend campaigns and tailor the experience to your group. Please check the links below for some of the intro videos I have created. I have one new opening for a Tuesday game, I am available all day, and am open to any time after 8am EST, but before Midnight.   My games all last 3-4  hours and are fully packed with things to explore, engage with, and enjoy. I am always prepared for my sessions and am not just reading from the module like a robot, I add in tons of extras/add-ons. I am willing to run players levels 1-20 if people are interested, I do it with most of my groups, but that is up to everyone and decided on at session 0. The way I do this is usually by homebrewing after the module is completed, so far the count has gotten out of hand (I think around 27 games have reached level 20), but I just had another group hit 20 just last week, so it is fairly common/easy for me to do. "$10???? Why so cheap?!?!?"  I have always stated over the last 10+ years to my players there are two major reasons I charge, I would happily run these games for free, but I have costs that occur while running, like needing 2 separate roll20 accounts because I filled mine with add-ons/music/etc. The other reason being that I have noticed the simple $10 is enough to have players become a little more likely to show up to sessions, which for me is huge. I enjoy consistency, and I like providing that to my players.   All I require is a working mic, and the ability to use discord and roll20, we will be using discord for voice, and roll20 for the game. Any questions or concerns, you can post them below or msg me privately, kristopherv is my username on Discord if youd like to contact me there. Thank you for taking the time to read all of that. ↓↓↓↓↓↓  INTRO VIDEOS, MUSIC, & Reviews ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ Princes of the Apocalypse Curse of Strahd Tyranny of Dragons Rime of The Frostmaiden The Wild Beyond the Witchlight Compilation Track Example This game will require payment to the Dungeon Master at a rate of $10.00 Via Paypal, Per Session.  Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
