No map tab in google+ hangout

Everything seems to work great in hangouts except that I don't see the tab to switch between maps. I'm stuck on the Start tab. Firefox 14.0 on Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

Upon further fiddling, if I click on another app, e.g., Google Docs, then return to Roll20, the maps tab then appears. But it's not there when I first launch into hangouts from the link on my campaigns page.

I use Hangouts in Chrome on a Mac and it is there for me.
