Sorry for not giving details before, I was in rush and needed to post Better Angels is a tabletop roleplaying game where you play a supervillain who got superpowers from being possessed by a demon and you play the demon who’s possessing the supervillain of another player to your right. As a Villain you have freedom to do as you please through that may not always be what the demon wants, so they will tempt that supervillain with more power in exchange for greater and greater acts of evil. But If you’re too evil, your demon can drag you screaming right to hell itself, be to nice and the demon will find a way to punish you their own way. In between the superpowers and demons are a range of opinions to improve yourself mechanically and roleplaying wise Through it isn’t just a game about bad people doing things that may or may not also be bad. It’s specifically about people driven by demons, or by conscious malevolent forces with cruel designs that have weird powers. If that’s not demonic enough for you, it should be. Walking that balance, between good and evil and power and fear, is the heart of Better Angels. The system uses d10s for there rolls with Virtuous and Sinister Tactics and Strategies points that determine success and failure at challenging tasks The World Superheroes have always existed, though their popularity and acknowledgement as "superheroes" is the product mass media rise. The phenomenon of supercrime and heroism is only about 70 to 80 years old, though there are many tales of extreme superhuman feats as far back as history cares to mention. Previously thought to be poetic license, these events have taken the shape of Silver Age super-people tropes, likely because that is how they were reported for a number of decades, turning the message into the medium. History hasn't been much altered. The ability to kill stuff with your eye lasers, while useful, doesn't typically make impacts large enough to alter the world stage. Some supers fought in the big wars, a few assassinations were successful that otherwise wouldn't have worked out, but there are a few notable "heros" and "villains". The internet exists, as do cellphones, but they are much larger, more crudely made, and plagued by ugly interfaces. Cars are reminiscent of the 70's and 80's, and weapons aren't much beyond that time period either (cops still carry revolvers; the army still has M16's). A lot of time was wasted in the industrial age research abandoned superhero artifacts (that weren't actually using super science so much as divine magic). Ultimately, society has all the capabilities of 2014, but in a much cruder, less-user-friendly form. Think of John Holmes movie, but with text messaging and facebook (even though it is called "myeblackbook.net"). The setting is not from my mind but i liked it so i am adding to it, the campaign takes place in Memphis Tennessee http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/114269/Bette... gmt+10, Sunday 2pm my time, we have had one session at this moment
