Wonderful. I was just looking for a campaign. I do consider myself a 3.5e veteran and I am both a player as well as a fellow DM. I generally prefer more RP oriented games as I find mindless combat to be meaningless without emotion and story to go along with it. Additionally, while I don't expect 5 star maps, I would prefer a campaign in which the DM is willing to put in a fair share amount of polish as I do with my own games. If this is such a campaign, then I'm there in a heartbeat. As for a bit about myself, I do consider RP to be the most important element of character creation, and thus I put a lot of effort into crafting a character with a flavor. That being said, I do optimize to a reasonable degree, there are no slackers in the dungeon after all, but I generally try to match the party's power level. There isn't any fun in winning every encounter easily after all. I'll generally tell the DM if anything I am using will take extra effort to deal with. I know what it feels like to have a player who gets power gamy. I'll assume this is a voice based game.
