Looking for Players: Quick, Casual, good few sessions of Fate Core

Hello guys. Again. I had attempted to solicit for an Eclipse Phase one-shot, but the posters stopped responding for some reason and we didn't have enough players to make it pop. Anyway. I've been watching Alien: Isolation and lots of SMT, so those ideas have been milling about. Three genre types I'm thinking we could have fun with would be either: a semi-open adventure to escape an abandoned space station; Dead Space esque (maybe more narrative or more psychological terror,); and thirdly, something ridiculous like Space Dandy, since I imagine we could have fun with some really interesting aspects (Renowned Pink Pompadour of Prickliness!) Anyway, hit me up, and as for time, I'm available the 22nd and then the 27th to 29th, after 3 PM CST. Other times may be discussed, and I'm willing to be very flexible with an enthusiastic player base. ### Weird cross post! I was talking with a player that got shunted out of an Exalted game. If anybody's interested in that, do respond as well, but it will not be near as easy as doing some easy-going Fate. I'm down for any of those days after 7 closer to 8 if possible. Any of those ideas seem great to me. I'll start thinking of ideas as soon as I quit typing nonsense.

It's cool, Charles. I'm posting this mainly for whoever else sees it, but a big part of Fate is that everything is generated at the table. Also, don't let not having the book deter any of you. I do encourage all players to drop at least 5 USD on it at DriveThru, but for those that can't at the moment, the devs do allow you to download it for free. Also, what form of playing would you be up to? I keep running into people that can do posts are mini sessions throughout the week due to life, and I personally do prefer text-based role play (met too many psychos out there, sadly.) I would prefer flexible scheduling with some live chat, myself.

I would be down if you are still looking for players. Fate has been growing on me since i discovered it a bit ago.

Hello guys. I've given this thread some time to stew, and I just wanted to post an update. One more slot is open until 4 PM CST; at that time, I would like to get with the players that have shown interest and see about a sit-down this evening. Since Charlie is available at eight PM, that is the latest any stragglers have to jump on board for tonight. However, slots will remain open to fill, late players will just not have the benefit of early input to determine the opening setting. I plan to run Fate as a flexible game subject to radical change early on. Don't let this deter you from signing up!

Update on Fate Sit Web sitdown! Charlie and I chilled and talked up what we'd like to see a bit. We're drafting ideas on a shared Google Doc, but here's some basics we have down: Starting on a local scale, Space Station, and no, not derelict. Yet. We are both fans of Alien series, and Charlie proposed that the corp we're contracted by is in fact going to stab us in the back, too. We like the idea of "worker Joe's," or newspaper down the throat Bishops! :D I'm gonna sleep on the dials and skills for now, but for those that are on the fence, I believe this is a go! Game time's are expected to be: Tuesdays or Wednesdays, or on the weekend from general schedule comparisons. If on the weekdays, post 8 00 PM CST; if on weekends, time is lose but probably evenings, too.

Hey, I was searching for someone who can accept new players in Fate Core and I stumbled upon this post. I have Fate Core rulebooks and 2 other games powered by it, still I have found it a little bit difficult to wrap the aspects around my mind! I was always hoping that if I could find some group to just at least start playing then it will be great. Can you guys give this new player a chance? Also, I own Eclipse Phase, would love to play it someday because I haven't gone through the rules yet. Too much for me currently!
