LFP for a Pathfinder homebrew Fridays 7 pm GMT, mature & commited players for weekly game

Have a GM already set up for this already. Will be a homebrew campaign. Looking for mature players familiar with the PF system for a long term campaign. Players must be able to work together throughout the campaign and gell as a group. Game will be driven by story and have a very good balance of combat, RPing, puzzle solving, and interaction with the world. Looking for a group of between 4-5 players. Players that are looking for this kind of game. What you will be required to do to be able to enjoy this campaign and able to provide to other players so they can enjoy the campaign as well. 1. Work together as group. 2. Be commited to make sessions. 3. No evil characters 4. Be mature. 5. Have fun - isnt this what we are all here for anyway. 6. Skype and a mic If you feel that this is the type of game you are looking for then drop a post below describing your experience with RPGs and what you hope to get out of the game.

Just to let you know i am the GM , prepare to bring your imagination and interlect to the game , your sword will be useful but it will not be used all the time Rob
Hello there, this is certainly the type of game I'd be interested in. Anyway, to the point, I have several years of roleplaying experience behind me, stemming from WHFRP, then onwards through to dark heresy, which I have GMed, and several games of pathfinder and D&D, both 3.5 and 4e, though more a fan of the former. I'd hope to be able to have a good experience of a character, and an enjoyment of the game, in reference to the latter question.

Daniel , Ken is handling the recruitment for the game , he also has the link to the campaign file , if you have any questions about the game please ask , the game will start at 1st level you may wish to provide a backstory for your character that is up to you, your only equipment will be the clothes you stand up in and a dagger which is generally used for eating , this is a city based campaign. Oppening Scene Times have been hard for adventurers lately most of the monsters have been cleared from their lairs , all of the evil mages have been vanquished so life is tough and jobs are few and far between , most try to scratch a living form meinal tasks like caravan duty or joining the watch. you stand in the market square watching the burning of the last witch being burnt at the stake wondering where you next meal will be coming from. As the fire begins to burn and this old woman is immersed in the flames the skies begin to darken and a strange cackle comes from the pyre. you stare at the flames , you run your eyes and stare , , you could be mistaken but the body in the flames seams to be moving. The flames lick the sky in an ever intense heat you are forced back by the flames as their intense heat burns your face , you think you see a shape in the flames like a serpent rising from the ashes. The pyre dies down and nothing is left but ash , the watch sift through the ash for any remnants of the witch but there is nothing... but wait you see a glint of something shiny but so does one of the guards who picks it up and examines it moments later his body , clothes , weapons and armour just melt before your eyes and a loud booming voice is heard saying "Welcome to the accursed my children" Panic ensues as the townsfolk run in all directions as a second and then a third body melt , luckly you are not one of those unfortunate people but you are scared....... what do you do....... ? I will certainly begin writing a backstory as soon as I have the character up properly, May I ask as to class and race restrictions, and as to what kind of world we are in?

90% of the townsfolk are human with a few dwarfs , elf's and halflings and other minor races , the total population is about 20000, i don't mind what race or class you are but you have been residing in the city for a few months now so you will have to have been able to get on with the local populace as you will have had to do small labouring jobs to keep yourself fed and possibly put a roof over your head though there are may sleeping rough. there is little money in the city as most trade if via bartering and haggling The world itself has all but defeated the Evil entities and has basked in its own goodness for a little while but like everything it does not last and the rot has set in with gangs , cut-throats and other criminal elements which the watch are hard pushed to keep inline You may wish to take a trade like butcher , blacksmith , dish washer , rat catcher which may help you improve your standing with the townsfolk i still have to flesh out the city with npc's , places , names etc but the base story line has been built
Wish this were on Saturdays and not Friday. I am in the states and this would be in the middle of my workday. My wife and I (Seasoned Roleplayers) would love to join.
Welcome Daniel. Look forward to adventuring with you.

If players wish to use myth-weavers they are more than welcome , just post a link to your character sheet

Definitely interested, I'd have to know more though. 18 years pen and paper gaming experience. Bit of an old schooler, started back in 1st, hated thaco, enjoyed 3.0 but 3.5 became a jumble of too many books by too many different publishers. Have tried other systems in the midst of all that, but really liking pathfinder, and all the versatility and balance changes they incorporated. Unfortunatly Mythweavers does not agree with my e-mail hence I tend to make my own character sheets based on the 3.0 template on notepad with a few changes for PF.
What else would you like to know? Your experience is what we would prefer. As long as you can provide a sheet to Rob when needed I don't foresee that to be a issue.

Mostly about the setting, but also what character creation rules you're running. As well as potential party composition, and getting to know the other players "around the table" so to speak. Also I'm a bit o an improv player, unexpected tools to get out of bad situtations, ex: the rust monster antena against the iron golom.
Are not to many restrictions. They are listed above. Group comp is unclear as of yet. I think I will be going with either a Slayer or Bloodrager. We have 3 players right now myself, Daniel and you. Rob has all the details for the campaign.
point buy? stat alocation? rolled stats? race/class restrictions?
Ahh yes sorry. Will have to wait for Rob to give guidance and I will update OP.
I could be tempted, been playing DnD of various versions for about 10 years now, DM'ed a bunch of stuff myself from almost every version, though I mainly tend to play PF atm since I truly disliked 4th Ed and haven't really gotten down and dirty into seeing if 5th Ed is enjoyable enough for me to give it a proper whirl. The setting sounds interesting, and the time suits me well. Let me know about the restrictions etc and I'll think of some character concepts.
In talking w/ Rob (the GM for the campaign) he doesnt have any restrictions on classes or races. Obvisiously he has given us the opening scene and is requiring a background on how you got there. We are in the same boat in disliking 4th. I find PF gives me what I want and is enjoyable. Ive played a session or 2 of 5th and not real big on it. It seems like an enhanced version of 1st Ed. I like the complexity of PF in that you can take what you want form it to suit you. Would enjoy having you along if you'd like.
4th is NOT D&D nor will I ever acknowledge it as such. It's WoW on paper...
keno d. said: It's WoW on paper... Exactly what Ive said about it. It plays like a video game.

Hey, GMT+1 here! Im very interested to join as a player. Looking forward for a potential campaign that focuses on roleplay. If you got a spot, I'd love to join in. Edit: My Experience: I'm fairly new to DnD and Pathfinder, started with watching Roleplay a year back (itmeJP's youtube series). Found a Pathfinder group on reddit shortly after, that unfortunatly disbanded after 7 or 8 Sessions due to the GM's work-schedule. After that, I started GMing for real life friends but didn't have a chance to act as a player since.
You are welcome to join.
Heya guys, I know the pf system well, both as a PC and DM and I would be most interested in joining if there is still a slot free :) I have skype and a mic, and I love when combat can be resolved with roleplaying and puzzles (although sometimes it is just fun to go into the combat too hah). So I think your campaign sounds like it would be a lot of fun and I enjoy roleplaying-based campaigns. Let me know, thanks!

I will be using the point buy , i don't mine what classes are played and even if you all decide to play wizards that is up to you , i think the first session which i hope to be this friday 24th October at 7pm GMT should be a get around the table and introduce ourselves , iron out any bits of info that you might not know. on another note if any of you have an axe to grind against another person in this group could you please use the PM feature and not broadcast it to the world Thanks Rob
Game full.
Gah ... Good luck guys!
