Hello & Schedule

Presentations first! So, hi everyone, I just dropped in at Carn's request, played a skirmish on Saturday, cracked a few nuts with Tapton, fun times! Now on to the main issue. I heard from Chris that schedule is not set yet, so I'm opening this post. Currently, days I can't do voice gaming are: Saturdays, Mondays and Thursdays. Any other day is fine. So go ahead and post your available schedule. We got some gore fest business to do!
Thanks for your interest! Glad to hear you're enthusiastic to play. Hope fun was had for all Saturday. We've been gaming on no day other than Saturday so far, but we've previously discussed moving days on a number of occasions. As I've said a number of time before, we—as a society—are busy through the week. I go to school full time and have a part-time job, not to mention a small horse ranch. However, it's that very same busy schedule that often keeps me in place. Society tends to plan events around the weekends. If I take a trip, it's on the weekend. We've thrown around Friday before. I have no plans on Friday evening. However, Archie (Carn) would rather we play earlier rather than later. If it's Friday, it's later for me. I can't do voice through the week other than Friday evening. Voice is mandatory for regular sessions in Gorefest Dungeon. Did Brandon give an update about his current situation, or do we need to send a hit man out there to take care of the problem?
I'm easily able to make it to any session on Friday or Tuesday currently. So Friday is good for me. Other than that, I believe we might still want to plot for sending someone out to. . . smooth out the difficulties that Brandon might be having. I'm sure if we pool our available funds we might be able to hire some type of hobo to deal with it. But yeah, it was great seeing how Valter there dealt with being thrown into a skirmish with a premade character, my personal wizard actually, and had a great deal of fun and nut shots throughout the session, including around 30 seconds of straight laughter at Archie's rolls. Can't wait to see when this group actually gets together and games for real again.
Archie still rolling bad? Some things never change. Lemme guess; he crit success'ed on at least one Ready roll at least. I thought I remembered the name "Tapton."
Yeah, one fast draw critical (We were all very inspired by it) and then the best thing that he managed was to shoot a troll in the eye that we had mistaken for a damage roll instead of location. Of course this was before nearly getting taken out by a nut shot from a troll archer that he had hit first thing in the skirmish. . . also in the groin.
I'm trying to keep my PC, guys. But it looks like I will so I'll be available at anytime during the week at around 6 PM Eastern. However, I do plan to host another game on either Friday evenings or Sunday mornings so either of those might be out for me. It might be Sunday though seeing as I can wake up early without having to worry about fooling my mother that I'm asleep rather that trying to hit a troll in the knob or force a butler to do the lawn. And yes, it will be another MAID game. Because I find the absurdity greatly amusing. But yea, any day of the week except maybe Sunday is good for me, even better if it's officially moved because that means I have another time slot and such but it doesn't have to. Really the only thing I look forward to on the weekends is castrating trolls.
I completely forgot to actually make a post here. I'm pretty clear most days since I have no life at all outside of school. I can't do most days of the week but for the next 2 months or so Tuesday will be a possibility, I can also do Friday at the same time, maybe. Saturday I can play mornings (not that you'd want to) and Sunday I can shuffle some things around if we really need to.
Our current regular time is Saturday at 3 p.m. We moved it from Saturday at 5 p.m. to ease Archie/Carn's suffering. Let me post my current availability: Timezone: CDT -6 Monday: None. Tuesday: None. Wednesday: None. Thursday: None. Friday: Evenings starting at 5 p.m. Saturday: All day. Sunday: After noon starting at 1 p.m. That means the only days available for Gorefest is Friday (evening), Saturday and Sunday (afternoon). No other days are open for discussion for Gorefest . I could play all day Tuesday and Thursday and would love to put those days on the table, but I don't have an Internet connection at home that supports voice. Believe you me, it is a source of great displeasure for me. Of those three days and times, Friday, I understand, will be most difficult for Archie/Carn. Saturday is out for Valter. If Brandon is out Sunday morning, that makes Sunday evening our best time slot. Do I hear a motion to move our current regularly scheduled sessions to Sunday evening with an exact time to be later determined?
I would be alright with Sunday. I believe that such a session would keep you from being too fried from a week of schoolwork to really enjoy GURPs unlike a Friday evening one would. Might also give you a good bit of free time during the weekend to plan things if you needed to.
I'm ok with Sunday.
Ooh. Ouch. Sunday Evening is my Pathfinder game. That would be a rather large hit for me since I do tend to be annoyed with GURPS at times.
Okay . . . So, now there is only one available day and time for which to move the game. Do I hear a motion to change it to then or does it stay at Saturday, 3 p.m.?
Friday would hurt because I would have been in school all day, doing quantum mechanics and 'Chemical History' other fun stuff like that, but Sunday will hurt more since I wouldn't have that extra day to recover once lectures start on Monday, BUT looking at my timetable, that won't be for another 14 weeks or so. I still have tutorials in the mornings but.... I might be able to manage. Friday gives me that whole weekend to get myself around again. I tend to stay up late on Friday anyway I think I have mentioned, so that I'm not a zombie for the game. Just clearing up that Friday isn't as bad as you thought, maybe. Whatever suits you guys best. Saturday is ofc fine still.
Well, you guys know me. I've got no life so I'm pretty much open for anything until further notice.
I'm good with Friday or Sunday morning since Valter can't do Saturdays.
Motion to move the regular game day to Friday passes 5-0 with 1 absent. Both Brandon and I have stated we cannot begin until 5 p.m. CDT, so that's when we will set the time. Our regular game time is now Friday at 5 p.m., CDT . Do I hear a motion to start our new regular schedule tomorrow, the 24th? Or, does someone move that we begin On Halloween, Friday the 31st?
OMG OMG OMG TOMORROW I gots my precious shenanigans ready to go!!! Gottahurrytofinishcharsheet!!
If it's at 5 PM CDT then I might be about 10 minutes late each time since I usually don't get home until around 5:05 CDT.
