Shadowrun 5e GMT 1900ish interest check

So I had planed to set up a game a couple months back but work got a bit hectic. Now looking at recapping on the rules and potentially setting up a game if the interest is there. Only thing is game day may need to be somewhat flexible (thus players need to be too) as my schedule may get a little screwy shortly. anyway if your intrested pop a reply in and if I get enough I'll look at putting something together. Edit: I should mention newbies are more than welcome

I would be very interested though i haven't played Shadowrun so far..I'm more of a practical guy, "learning by doing". If someone could help me create a Character and kinda go through the basics with me, i would pretty much play anything.

its cool jonas if I get enough intreast I'll have an individual session with each player to do character gen, but I suggest checking out the wiki for it to get to grips with the setting

Thats a good idea Scion. Making characters in SR is a pretty involved process.

yip Karl as I learned trying to create a hacker in 4th ed all that god damn book keeping for created/hacked programs kill me now lol. Plus since I am willing to accept newbies I wouldnt wish creating your first char alone on anyone for any system nevermind shadowrun, it also lets you get to know the player and their thought process a little better.

What day were you thinking?

as OP says it's probably going to have to be kind of flexable, but will depend on when the selected players and myself are free so its yet to be arranged.

You say when :) Fridays and Sundays are less than optimal for me.

I'm interested. Day depending of course. Fri is a no go. Sat is a possibility. During the week it will depend on the time.

I could've sworn I already answered in this post but it appears I haven't. *shrug* Anyway I'd be up to play, if you still need folks. Mon-Thu would be my preferred day but I could (not regularly though) make Fridays happens. Saturday and Sunday, sadly, are complete out of the question for me.

I am always interested in Shadowrun but what kind of game are you thinking of running?

Scion could you define "flexible"? I.e. different days of the week, different times for chosen session day, etc.

@ Riddler it will depend on who is playing but considering I have been out of gming for a while and I will be accepting at lest one player new to shadowrun it may be slow paced while I get back in the saddle and we get the newbie up to speed most likely, it'll also be more rp focused than combat where players choose the route of the game rather than try to rail road you's down a path. @ Kenneth right now it could be either or as I imagine it wont be set up till the begining of novemember and I am still waiting to get my shifts over the next little while, so while I would try to keep it to the same day and have a slight shift in time it may end up that either a day change has to happen or a week skipped, but obviously till a day is arranged I cant say anything for certain just now

okey well between the two posts there seems to be enough interest to get a game put together, I'll create a LFG for it later today and post the link in both posts.

Just trying to get a basic idea bc of other games that I have going on. Time shifts are not to big of a deal. Days could make things difficult. Fri evenings are for sure a no go for me.

yea, same for me. i have several other games... so moving the day around would be troublesome... and moving the time around too much is also really inconvenient, as people will forget and show up at the wrong time.

I am very interested as well, just depends on when, during the week works best for me. I am also new to the game, but a quick learner and once I start to get things, it sticks.

Well its Likely to be a week day as Friday nights and saturdays are pretty much defined no goes for me. I also realise that many people already have games set for those days and sunday as well so I was mostly expecting to arrange it between monday to thursday. @Kenneth Like I said if the day change doesnt suit all then that week would just have to be skipped no major deal for most people @Azrael well like it says in the OP a bit of flexibility is important so may not be the best game for yourself. Though the flexibility thing is dependant on me knowing what my work patteren will be for Nov which I wont know until at lest the end of the week

unfortunately, based on my other games, i don't think i have the flexibility to keep up with the game day. weds specifically is already taken. if you guys lock it down on mon/tue/thur, and need one more, toss me a pm. otherwise, good luck with it all :)
