So hello everyone , i am aledas and you might know me allready from the forums or from a game that we have played . I am normally a person who loves melee characters , getting right in the front line , and cutting down your enemies in all ways . But for some reason , i really want to play a mage now , the edition that i have played the most in roll20 its 4e , i have more or less an idea of the tipe of mage that i want , id like him to be human , in hes 20-30 , i think it would be cool that he knew "tricks" like the street mages , maibe thats how he earned a living , untill given the chance to learn real magic , charismatic , so id like to use diplomacy as well , id like him to be able to use a melee weapon , because lets face it , im a melee guy so sometime ill probably will stab someone in combat , or bash :D I allways lean much more on roleplay , and rules/editions are just a means to tell what is goin on , im by no means rules savvy but i know a bit :) , im not a power gamer , but also i dont gimp my chars , i dont know as much as to be able to gimp them either , now i said that i like roleplay but i also love combat , so a good mix of them its best for me , i have no problem with 1 session or 2 of rp , but by the 3rd my hand will start to get twitchy probably :P I dont enjoy investigation to much , dont know why , and i preffer high fantasy , instead of dark worlds , right now eberron its the world that i am playing the most and its pretty fun , but i love forgotten realms from the baldurs gate , icewind dale , neverwinter nights books . Im fine with homebrew , i have played mostly homebrew worlds in roll20 to be honest , fridays , sundays and mondays are a no go , so i guess that dont leave me with many days :S , and i would preffer if the campaing dont make me go to sleep at 3 am , unless on a saturday :P . A few things on me as a player .- I am dead punctual and expect the same in return .- I am a team player and will help the group in a non disruptive way .- If im motivated and inspired i sometimes write background memories and little stories in game forum , if they are good or bad its up to the reader :P .- I try to make sure that all team members participate in things i like to do , mostly npc insteraction i mean .- I love to roleplay and get involved with the world , this ending in my chararcter pursuin a love relationship sometimes with a npc or player , this might be a good thing or drawback , depending on the dm i guess Shortcomings as player , because we all have them :P .- I cant for the life of me play an evil character , i simply cant :P .- I dont get along with people who are nasty to eachother , or disruptive .- I dont read as much as i should about rules -.- .- My english is not perfect :) There is probably more but i cant think of it now :) So there you have it guys , i hope to hear from some of you , and happy adventuring :)
