Chat Aesthetics

Okay, this is a bit of a luxury request, but I'd highly appreciate an improved chat aesthetic. Currently, it's not bad, but just a bit grey and erratic. Here 's a mockup I've made which might make it a bit more pleasing to read, improving the over-all gaming experience.

+1 for any improvements to Chat Aesthetics. I think Actoba has a similar suggestion here https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1244846/#post-1244846 How is your suggestion different?

Where-as his suggestion limits itself to programmers (and people who are deep into the roll20 community already), mine brings a focus on making it accessible for a wide, general audience from the get-go. Making it as Pick up and play as possible. I think having a clean, easily readable core chat is more important than having HTML support; a building needs good foundations, before people should start adding their own wings.
