Silent Perception Check (no character sheet)

I am trying to set up a silent Perception check for my campaign... I am trying to do something like this /gmroll PC1 P. Perception [[10]] /gmroll Rolled [[1d20+0]] /gmroll PC2 P. Perception [[15]] /gmroll Rolled [[1d20+5]] /gmroll PC3 P. Perception [[13]] /gmroll Rolled [[1d20+3]] The rolls will either not work correctly, or are not silent. I was wondering how I would go about making it hidden... I have tried whisper GM rolls and that brings up an error, this set up I have now shows the rolls to both the PC's and GM. Can you help a Brotha out. Thank you!

What do you mean by 'silent'. Do you mean hidden? Are you the GM or a player? Finally, in order for a /gmroll to work there must be a roll. So /gmroll 1d20 will work while /gmroll [[1d20]] will not.
My problem was that I could still see the silent rolls or hidden rolls when I rejoined as a player... I actually fixed it shortly after posting this. I was going out of my mind wondering why my rolls as both whispers and gm rolls could be seen in chat when I rejoined as a player... Then I thought, 'maybe it is because I am the GM and even in player it sees me as the GM' so I made a new account to see if they were hidden or silent.. and they were... This i what I used... nothing fancy... /w gm PC1 P. Perception [[10]] /w gm Rolled [[1d20+0]] /w gm PC2 P. Perception [[15]] /w gm Rolled [[1d20+5]] /w gm PC3 P. Perception [[13]] /w gm Rolled [[1d20+3]] However Hidden rolls still get the Roll20 chat blip noise, so it alerts the PC's to me rolling silently.

When you whisper to the GM and you are the GM who is also logged in as a player in a second window the game still thinks you are...you. As a GM you are "Papercutt" so "Papercutt" sees what the GM should see. Because "Papercutt" is also logged in as player the player version is getting the info too. The players should not experience a blip noise when the GM does a /gmroll. To test these things log in as GM. Next, log in under an entirely different account in another browser. Test the whisper system and test the /gmroll system that way. You should not experience any problems.
