Couple Looking For Dark Heresy Campaign

Hello! My name is Jessica. My boyfriend and I love Warhammer 40k, although I am a little more into it than he is. We're really interested in getting into a Dark Heresy campaign! We can play on any day of the week from 7PM EST onward except for Wednesdays. I do have the core rulebook but I haven't had it for very long. This would be the very first time we have used this system but not our first time roleplaying. We have used other systems such as DND 4E, Pathfinder, Apocalypse World, Dungeon World, Wicked FATE, and Murderous Ghosts. My boyfriend and I forward to playing with you, and The Emperor!

One other important thing. I am also mute, like being deaf only for your mouth. That means I will have to rely on text chat for my communication, which I know can be a huge turn off for a lot of people but it's something I have to deal with every day.

Well you seem like a chill person but my only question would be if you would instead play Black Crusade or RT? You see I dislike DH for a few reasons and I feel RT is a bit simpler to get into for most people.

You mean people usually play DH as douchebags that go around and kill people that 'know too much?' Yea been there, not happy bout it. Try RT as Chris suggested, being the Rogue Trader or his crew can be much more satisfying since you're fighting and looting for yourself and not the emperor, plus Kroot or an Ork Freebooter is a viable player race option as these guys are the only ones that are less xenophobic than the rest of the Imperium.
