LFP D&D 5e Sundays 9:30pm EST

Recently had a player drop out of our campaign, looking to find a replacement. Trying to find someone who enjoys playing in a relaxed fun-loving comedic group, and can manage to avoid the incredible temptation to build characters that have been min maxed to OP'ness. This group is about fun and creative role play without the overly serious tone of most rp centric groups. Give me a brief idea of the concept behind the character you would play with so I can get a feel of how you would fit into the group.

I'm interested! I play a rogue that is independent, but with a group she steadily becomes more of a team player. She is not much of a talker, but she goes where the action is, always in search of a challenge. She is proud and often appears bitter on the outside, putting up strong social defenses to hide her emotions, good and bad. She has a strong dislike for authority figures and nobility. She is a little agoraphobic, which makes her uncomfortable in crowds, but she does better if there are people she knows or trusts around. Even though she has a bad poker face, she loves to gamble. It is the one time her typical ability to remain stone-faced fails her. Losing doesn't dissuade her, she just enjoys the thrill of the game. I play her more as a sneaky striker than a trap finder or lock picker, but I love roleplaying with her. She may seem serious, but with time she loosens up and is a lot of fun. I'm far less serious out of character. http://i.imgur.com/ur7N2oA.jpg
Hey Aaron! What kind of character does your party need (what role is missing)? I have an idea for a Bard, Cleric, Paladin, or Fighter.
Hey, I'm very interested in the open spot. Currently I've had a little experience with 3.5/pathfinder but I've been reading 5e and really want to jump into a game. This time works really well for me which has been the most difficult part of finding a game so far. I'm really stoked for monk or warlock. General concept I've had for them Human Monk: coming out of a monastic life they learn to have humor and deal with the fact there not always a clear cut answer to what is right and wrong in any given situation. tiefling warlock: a well meaning, if not always well doing warlock who uses his personality and skills to help defy the racial stigma surrounding his class. Often posing as a wizard or sorcerer
Party is currently a druid, a rogue, and a paladin. We're playing in an amazing custom world built by our seasoned DM and are currently level 3. We are really just looking for an additional member that isn't a horrible min maxer or rules lawyer, and can have fun with role playing in a casual group that doesn't take themselves overly serious. Give me some brief character concepts and how you would play them, we need at least one more person.
Hey Aaron, I'd love to join. I've been thinking about playing a wizard that is completely full of himself but is actually kind of a fool. I wouldn't even know how to begin min/maxing a character so if you still need one let me know.
Bump, Need someone familiar enough with the 5th Edition and Roll20 that they could input their character info into the in game character sheets and be ready by Sunday.

Sounds like fun, I would be interested in joining. I've been thinking about playing a wild mage sorcerer who was born into and raised by a sort of cult that believes that chaos is preferable to order and tries to reform the world to be more chaotic. Unfortunately he has a bit of OCD, and he recently had a crisis of faith when he found himself unwittingly organizing his socks. The leaders of the cult have suggested he go on a sort of Rumspringa-like pilgrimage to see the effects of chaos and order in the world. If the DM or other players are uncomfortable with the wild mage effects, I could probably play as a more standard wizard without losing too much. Also, I've been playing 5e quite a bit since launch, and the playtest before that, so I feel pretty comfortable with the system.
