Whisper from GM

Just a question. Should /w playername or /w charactername from the GM produce a message that is only visible to the GM and the player concerned? I can't test this between sessions because it gives the 'are you insane' message if you try to whisper from GM to yourself as player. it sends the message to the specified character that only the gm and player/character sees. I use it alot in my games.

Well it sends a message that only the Sender and Receiver see. GMs cannot (and will not ever be able to) see whispers between players.

true but I just posted in response to his question as a message between the gm and a player.

Thanks for the response Metroknight. Since This is NOT what happened yesterday on DEV I will raise a bug in the Mentor forum.

Ah, on the Dev server. It usually works on the main server where I run my game as it has worked for the last 10 sessions. Sorry that I couldn't offer any other help in it.
