November Token-Challenge 2014 : Hello everybody, as a Content-Creator I've been a little bit disappointed about how little content I actually have created this year. There are lot's of ideas for token-sets already, but I couldn't find the time as yet ... So I set myself a Challenge. Every day of November 2014, I'll create 4 new tokens and show them to you. With 16 tokens for each set this will make atleast 7 brand new sets for this month. And you can watch it, comment and/or make suggestions. 1.11.2014 : Human Village Society Part I (4/16 done) At the moment I'm working on a counter-part to my Human-Town-Society -Set. This one will contain farmers and other village-inhabitants, starting here with: Peasant; Peasant woman; Peasant boy; Peasant girl. (Like most tokens in this set) they'll have two colour-Variations. Feel free to leave comments, ideas, suggestions or inspirations!

@The Aaron: Great suggestions. I'll keep them in mind and might do a Medival/Religious themed set after the next set. Next Set : The next set is something I wanted to do since I created my Town-Society-Set a few months ago: "Medival Crime Investigation" . One of the standard-plots/quests when players reach a town is often some kind of criminal case like murder, burglary or kidnapping, but to my knowledge there haven't been a set for these kind of Setting/Plots. So here I start: 05.11.2014 : Medival Crime Investigation (4/16 done) (4/32 done) Thief male; Thief female; Kidnapper male; Kidnapper female Feel free to leave comments, ideas, suggestions or inspirations!

And the next installment of "pseudo cool hooded guys"-week: 06.11.2014 : Medival Crime Investigation (8/32 done) Assassin male; Assassin female; dealer/informer; client female News : I'll try a much bigger set this time so there'll be much more characters for the Crime-Investigation-Theme.

And the next one: 07.11.2014 : Medival Crime Investigation (12/32 done) client male; dealer/informer female; physician male; physician female I thought that it might be interesting to have some kind of Forensic Identification for murder-plots. So here is the medival equivalent ... Next Characters will be detectives ...

08.11.2014 : Medieval Crime Investigation (16/32 done) detective male assistant: detective female assistant; detective female; detective male These characters are not exactly "medieval", but most groups will play in fantasy-settings anyway. And now you can have one or more detectives who investigate in your crime-plots with or against your players.

I am on a big mini-game/puzzle kick right now; so everything looks like a potential min-game/puzzle to me. I also think its an important part of a good campaign. If it was me... I would want fairly large scale maps... you would have to be clever with the 3/4 view. Streets wide enough to show the tokens but not break 3/4 perspective. GM pre-populates or API populates with citizens. The party has a limited time to "spot" the person that sticks out.... a lot of these are "mirrored" ... the party would be looking for the person that "sticks out in the crowd" (the person without a "mirror" twin.) That person would be on an "outgoing street" (street leading off the map to another map but not outside the city walls)... once they choose a direction they go to a a different map... cycle repeats for any number of steps. If at any point they guess wrong... they have to double back. You also play an annoying sound cloud of a city while all this is going on. And there can be brief fights in the city to slow them down... Here is a an all too well know city chase scene with mini fight... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anEuw8F8cpE

@Stephen S.: Great thing! 09.11.2014 : Medieval Crime Investigation (20/32 done) Executioner female; Executioner male; Lawyer female; Lawyer male I was a little busy this weekend and had only few time so I'll might add some more details before uploading the set. But yeah, Lawyers and Executioners ... The first ones to defend your player's typical behaviour the others to punish it ... xD

And next: 10.11.2014 : Medieval Crime Investigation (24/32 done) Judge female; Judge male; Inquisitor female; Inquisitor male These characters are less Crime Investigation and more the "aftermath" but I include them anyway for an all-out-Investigation-Plot. I want to create this one big set that gives you all the tools you need for different kinds of Crime-Plots. Your player's have suspects, allys and even the chance to interfere with the decisions of the court now ...

12.11.2014 : Medieval Crime Investigation (32/32 finished) Murderer; Poisoner; Victim male; Victim female That finishes Medieval Crime Investigation. I hope the set will be online by the beginning of next week. Next Set : - The next set will be religious-themed , but I'm not sure how many characters it'll have. I also want to try out a new workflow where I do the outlines and the colouring in two phases ... So maybe there'll be only black-&-white-sketches tomorrow.

I love your style! The medieval setting really goes hand-in-hand with your style and I love it. Maybe you should try doing a set of orcish village society tokens?

Benjamin S. said: I love your style! The medieval setting really goes hand-in-hand with your style and I love it. Maybe you should try doing a set of orcish village society tokens? I am actually planning to do some very big orcish-society set in December. Something with an nomadic tribes feel and up to 64 or even more tokens in it. This will probably take the whole December to finish but I try to get it done by the end of the year. I'll make an own thread for it, as soon as it's presentable. 17.11.2014 : Clergy & Followers (14/24 done) cleric female; cleric male My time schedule got a little messed up other the weekend so here are only 2 new tokens todays ...
