Player LFG, D&D 3.5/ 5e, space themed

Experienced player looking for a space themed game, possibly open world, or, "galaxy". It would be nice to be able to have a ship, that we can make upgrades to, and that everyone on the ship, has their own duties to keeping the ship running and flying. of course, i'll settle for any kind of space themed game, just giving some thoughts of what i would like to be able to do. any day, any time. i'm in CST gmt-6

There are a few different systems that deal with space as a primary setting that may do more to get bites than 3.5 or 5e. Just a suggestion but I would leave the 3.5/5e thing out and learn a new system as it would be easier and faster getting a group that way.
