Saving roll result for later use in a macro/script?

I've tried to find this on the wiki and in the forums, so sorry if this has been answered! Is it possible in a macro to get a roll result and save it (maybe as a variable, sort of?) to do some math with it later in a macro? My current specific use for this is that some spells do half damage rounded down if the characters succeed a saving throw vs the spell (yes, I know dividing something in half and rounding down is a simple task and can be done in ones head in a split second). Thanks!

Not without using the API (a Mentor level feature).

No. This is not currently possible with just macros. The API can do this (and you are already a mentor so can use the API in your games).
