I kinda would like a Dev to answer since if I log in as a player with journal rights they work for me, however they still don't work for him.

So we found the sheets macro's work in goggle Chrome but not Internet Explorer, however Google Chrome is very slow for him.

and his Initiative works but it's silent (changes turn order but roll does not show in chat)
