5E weeknights

Looking to play in a 5E game during weeknights (5pm pacific time onward). The type of game I'm looking for is as follows: - Combat heavy (60% of the time spent killing monsters/enemies) - Beautiful maps (not hand-drawn lazy) - Roleplaying with a sandbox feel for storyline, traditional setting like forgotten realms or dragonlance - Modules are great, or very solid homebrew I get that nobody cares or replies to people posting they want to play as opposed to being a DM. I'm willing to co-DM or take turns with anyone who wants to run this. If there are any other like-minded gamers out there that wants the above, let's form a new group for play during the week.
Hey there, you pretty much described the game I'd love to join and keep looking out for. If the playerslots aren't already entirely filled - I'd love to join this attempt to form a group. Have a great day, milan
I'd be into this as well. We get enough people, we'll have a group just needing a DM. If I knew more of the 5E play rules, I'd offer, but I have read little on it. I want a good introduction to the new edition. Luc

i am not a dm but would be interested in playing and am on the west coast as well, i hope to hear back.
Hi guys, I'd be interested in forming a group. I'm coming out of retirement, so to speak, to give 5e and shot. I haven't GM'ed in years (and never on Roll20 and never with with 5e) so I'm not an ideal option, but I'd be willing to give it a shot. Perhaps with one of the starter modules? I'm on the east coast but can't play most night until after 8pm EST anyways so that would work out. Let me know.
Hi Chris, that sounds great. Sometimes coming out of retirement is even better - you're fresh and ready to go! 5E is great, this coming from someone who played a lot of 1 and 2nd edition D&D. Back to the roots, they did a great job IMO. Add me to skype, we can discuss the times and module(s), etc. Same goes for the other posters, we can get a group setup soon I'll bet. natethegreat976

I'd be interested as well as a player, if there's still room; I only have experience playing/GMing Pathfinder, but I do have the 5e handbook.
I think Chris F. is going to DM mines of phandelver, just need to firm it up and sort out the day and time for the games.
I would love to play this version of the game with you guys! Add me on Skype live:huntley11c I would also be interested in DMing a bit if that is allright. I can not tell if you have confirmed Chris as the DM yet but I have a Quest or two i have been itching to use. Let me know!
Also another player keen to jump in if there is space.
It would be cool to have 2-3 DM's that rotate so everyone gets a chance to run a session if they want while still being able to play (prevents the DM burnout phenomenon unless you really like DM'ing more than playing). As of now I don't have a clear confirm on the DM (got a verbal but no game link yet or time), so it's still open. Once we lock in the DM and day/time, we can start actually building the player group. That shouldn't be hard given the # of posts.
/bump. Still looking for a confirm on a DM.
Anymore room in this game for a new player?
Players aren't the issue, it's the absent DM. Any DM's out there willing to make a commitment?
/Bump Seeing if there is anyone out there who would want to DM a heavily combat oriented 5E weekly game. Forgotten realms preferred, but can be any setting if it's detailed enough.
